Vilas... 'OFP'...sorry, but what is this? And 'Operation Flashpoint' games...done by same software house as Arma? And, what is the relationship between the 2 games? Even if I get ARMA 2, I will not do 'modding' and all that. I'll only have time to 'game'. BTW, when I first had quickly saw your name on your post, I thought of Guillermo Vilas, the great Argentine tennis player from the mid to late seventies...

Dead3yez... Thx. Seems to show list of servers, who is playing, for how long, and their scores. If there was a way of me getting a 'ping' to the Arma 2 servers from an East Coast/USA location...I know, that's asking a lot. It's just that the 'muti-player server community' seems small to me.

Here's a dumb question, but is there a way to view what multi-player servers are available for this game, without, in fact, having the game?

Are there many ARMA2 servers with low 'ping' for East Coast/USA location? My ping to our COD-WaW server in Chicago is typically between 48 and 60ms...to RI.

Oh, we have a clan member from Indiana I believe....Okeana...

MrBurns... I won't have time to do modding myself, would try out mods and play...I'm still not sure about how long it will take to become proficient at the game...I want to have fun, and if it feels too much like work, then it is work...and I want to escape in my gaming...plus I'm one of the 'admin' of our COD-WaW server...so time is a bit tight. BINKOWSKI...you live in Malden, Massachusetts? I'm in RI. FROGGYLUV... Yup, I just got a new 24" Dell # 2410f 'IPS' panel monitor...sweet.. had to buy it with my 'Ollie North Iran-Contra Fund' money... ha! And I want a solid state drive...

If it's more like those(but with bigger maps, you say?...interesting...hmm), I won't get it, because I'm already getting COD-MW2 Nov 10th. Then, I will get ARMA 2...have to sneak it in house when wife not home, install, and throw out box FAST...:D Of course, these games are not for me, they are for my son... What other ARMA2 websites should I be visiting to stay on top of things going on?

Don't know guys, but I might hold up buying ARMA2, as 'Operation Flashpoint2: Dragon Rising' is coming out in @ 6 weeks or so...check that out first... What do you think?

My local BB has one copy for $50. I kind of like the notion of having the physical game, ie, the disc, etc...

Thx for your help, guys. I really like the enthusiasm you've shown for ARMA2. Check out our COD-WaW clan site that I posted before....think you'll like it.
