    Resolution problem.

Thanks for your inquiry. I believe I'm running it regular. When Steam launches, it asks me if I want to run in windowed, it's not checked, so unless Steam is magic and thinks that by me not checking it, it means yes, then that might be indeed the problem. I'll make sure after I reinstall it again - for the fourth time. I experienced some crashing when trying to change the 3d resolution after the first time installing it on 64bit.

    Resolution problem.

I really disliking double posting and bumping a topic, but I recently reformated and installed Windows 7 ulitmate 64bit and I'm still having the same problem. I'm extremely annoyed that I can't enjoy countless hours of military simulated combat. With the lack of a proper resolution I may just have to shine my boots and join the Canadian Military to get some sort of "fix" for this addiction. Thanks to anyone who has a fix or knows something of this problem, Endust

    Resolution problem.

Ah yes, I knew I was forgetting something. I'm using a LCD TV as a monitor, it's a venturer, nothing fancy just something my Aunt gave me cause she was moving. My graphics card is a Nvidia 9800 GTX+. About your solution, I'll try it now and edit my post with the results. This is the only game that has this problem also. Every other game I have installed runs perfectly fine on 1680x1050. ::EDIT:: Nothing happened. Same problem. I forgot to mention in my first post that it also cuts off part of the right when I'm in the map editor. So where I'm suppose to see, let's say; | Exit | I see; | Exi
  4. Greetings to all whom set their eyes upon this post, Rather then tell you my life story I'll get knee deep into my problem. After putting off buying OA since the release date, I purchased it after Christmas sometime. Like a little school boy I was over joyed to install this and play. After installing it onto my computer I started it up, went straight to the video settings and chose both 1680x1050 for my resolutions. The game flickered as normal like it would with any game when changing resolutions, so it caused me no alarm. Though I noticed that it interface grew smaller, but the resolution which was displayed on my screen was still 1240x1080, so I restarted the game. But yet it was still the same resolution when I launched it again. Seeing as I owned ArmA2 Vanilla since release, I came to the conclusion it must just be the menu, so I popped open the editor, tossed a couple units down and started it up. Low and behold this was my problem, though, half my screen is now cut off at the top. I can see half of the font for the ammo count, and when changing weapons with "F" I must use my Jedi sense to hope I'm getting the right firing rate/weapon. Is there any fix for this? It's utterly annoying and I haven't even had the courage to play online as it takes the fun out of it. Now, I haven't installed Vanilla since I got this screen, so I'm not all that familiar with wide screen and ArmA2 - and yes, I did search the forum for my answers before posting, but I found nothing that could help. Anyways, thanks to anyone who helps a poor guy with his problem. - Endust.
  5. My receiving bug issue was fixed with 1.03, but today after updating my STEAM copy of the game to 1.04, I was greeted once again with this awful bug.
