  1. Ok I tried your setting - I disabled postprocessing, put terrain detail to normal, and view distance to 2700 and got about 17 fps at the start of harvest red mission. What res are you using ? Can you or anybody alse either try my first setting ( 7000 viev distance and high terrain detail ) or 2700 view distance and terain detail to normal ? I am getting 10 fps and 17 fps for second setting at the start of harvest red mission...this seems kinda low...I lowered view distance to 2700 and still getting only 17 fps
  2. Just wondering is this normal or am I doing something wrong. This is my configuration: C2D at 3.5 Ghz 4gb ram at 800 mhz Nvidia geforce 260 gtx graphics card Vista 64 OS All drivers up to date etc... All other games are working just fine...I get 25-30 fps in Crysis on maximum settings Now,thing is I like to set all posible settings to the max, because I have pretty good hardware which can handle it.Also I have 22 monitor so I only play at 1680-1050 So I tried that with ARMA 2 too. I set the res to 1680-1050 ( internal also ) and everything alse on max, except AA which is on normal. So everything is on very high,AA on normal, view distance on 7000 and terrain detail on high ( it wouldn't let me set it to very high unless I lower view distance to 3000 ) So is it normal with ARMA 2 maxed with this hardware to get only 10 fps ? I am talking for example start of harvest red level.Only 10 fps while they are talking I do get more fps in other areas up to 30,but still there are some areas where it drops to 10... So,is it normal with my hardware ?
