  1. It doesn't have to be teenagers. Just civilians standing up to a more advance army. Maybe have these hit and run missions, like in the movie.

  3. No this is the correct place. It's already out. This is the ArmA 3 Addon and Mod discussion board. ​I had this addon or addon script before. Like I said I didn't save it.   5. There was an addon I had where I could use the, "Delete" key for calling a chopper. The chopper would spawn and become part of my unit. You could also choose from a list of choppers to call in. Even UAVs I think? I bought a new computer and I didn't save that addon. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance! Sincerely, Skylez1
  6. I am trying to add the text, "One Minute Out." in a trigger. I tried it under text under effects. It won't work. I tried adding, TitleText["ONE MINUTE OUT","PLAIN DOWN"]; in the Activation box of the trigger. Still nothing. Am I missing something? Sincerely, Skylez
  7. I am making a mission and I gave the group to move to a certain waypoint. But after the fire fight starts they stay in one place prone. Even after I move up and kill all enemy AI. They just stay in one place, instead of moving to the way point. Now I tried the FFIS addon. says I was missing the \FFIS\FFIS.hpp something. So I pasted "-mod=@CBA_A3;@FFISv1.25". The game loads. But they just lay in the same place as before. So my question is.., Is there an add-on I can get, that I can drag and drop in the Mod screen, and give me a real combat experience? Sincerely, Skylez1

  10. I have read several posts about a unit changing sides. I've tired typing this in the INT box on the unit and on the activation of a trigger. CIVILIAN setfriend [EAST, 0]; EAST setFriend [CIVILIAN, 0]; I've gone in the SQM and located the Civilian and changed. side="GUER"; I don't understand SQF stuff or even how to make one. What I really want to do is make a Co-Op mission for my son and I to play as Civilians trying to escape the East. Maybe have the EAST attack us two and leave the other civilians alone. Can someone explain this to me in a way that a noob can understand it? Thanks, Skylez
  11. I have a Co-Op mission I been working ok. It's sorta like, "Zero Dark Thrity." 3 teams of 4 have different jobs. But one team must enter a large home and search all floors. For the 2 main targets, and eliminate them. 1 team sweeps the down stairs. Other team sweeps the outside premises. Once all are eliminated. Your given orders to reboard the chopper and fly off. I got most of it working. But it needs some..? "OOMPH..!" I'm relearning mission creating. I don't know scripting. Anyone who can help me. I will be more than grateful. And I will add you to the credits. Only fair.   12. I am making a mission where you have to destroy a supply convoy. I want fake supplies to drop out of a vehicle when a group gets out. After the attack. You have to run over to the supplies and gather what you can. ie: Food and medicine. What is the best way to do? Please note that I am new again to mission editing.   15. I searched this for over 20 mins. I tried different ways to word it. I'm finding some posts that are close. But nothing with the command or setting I'm looking for. What I want to do is make a group move to a certain waypoint after getting out of a boat. Regardless being shot at. I've tried Careless and Full. I also tried Safe and Full. But when my guys get out of a vehicle they just bunch up and stand there. Even tried both with Hold Fire. This is driving me nuts! LOL..! If you can help. I would greatly appreciate it. Also.., I haven't made a mission for over 5-6 yrs. Since, OFP. So you may need to explain it to me, in the simplest way. TY..! ~ Skylez

  17. Thanks Galzohar and Gunter. Now my son and I can build our armies the way we want. Within reason. (LOL..!) We have a budget of points. ie: 20 troops. 3 planes = 3 tanks. Or 2 tanks and 1 plane. Stuff like that. Now I gotta learn a bombing scripts. LOL..! ~ Skylez
  18. Can someone post a MP respawn script. My son and I are making MP battles. Where he defends from one side. I attack from the other. He designs his side defense. And I design how I am gonna come at him. We merge our maps together and move over w/e script files we needed. (ie: Parachuting in.) Save and export to MP. We select 1 of the 10 playable soldiers from each side, in the MP screen. But when one of us dies. We come back as a bird. We don't know scripting. We copy and paste from others online. But the MP respawn of the playable units. We just aren't understanding at all. So any help would be awesome. ~ Skylez

I tried to remove the {_x setbehaviour "Careless"; part. But then it says I'm missing the ";" part. So my line would read ["Ramp", 1]; disableAI "target"; _x disableAI "autotarget"; _x disableAI "FSM"} foreach units grp1; b2 setvelocity [15,0,0]; But that's not working. BTW.., I appreciate your help on this. It's a real pain in the neck.

  21. That worked. They are moving. Only issue now is they just walk. Like they are on a sight seeing patrol. LOL..! Is there a way to get them to run? I used a trigger for that command line you gave me. ~ Skylez
  22. Help..! I am trying to get the landing boats to lower ramp. I don't know how to script. So I tried, "b1 animate ["Ramp", 1]; and b2 animate["Ani_Ramp",1];" Both in the Act and Script areas on the waypoint. Neither one is working. Any help would be awesome. ~ Skylez
  23. Is there any good solid mods that are EASY to INSTALL..? Something that is fun and cool effects. I tried to play the FFUR 07 and 85. But it says missing some data/dta file. Something like that. I'm new to all this. Some I don't know how to make these shortcut .exe names and stuff.

    Douple Pointers

    Some reason I have double pointers. One is the in game pointer, and the other is my desktop pointer. Is there a fix for this?
