Hi, Maybe some multiplayer admin server commands have changed in ArmA 2: http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Armed_Assault:_Multiplayer_Server_Commandshttp://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Multiplayer_Server_Commands You should try #ban (name, ID or Player#) instead of #exec ban (name, ID or Player#)

Co06 - Mercenaries & Terrorists
Lonestar replied to jw custom's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - USER MISSIONS
Thank you JW Custom :) We are going to play it on our server tomorrow and i'll give you feedback. -
Hi Bon, I give you feedback and post a bug report. Some of these bugs existed even before patch 1.05 was released: At mission startup instead of spawning on the LHD, we land in water. There is no LHD. Some cities are clear, no enemies. For example in Chernogorsk mission in the briefing it says: "Expect heavy enemy resistance" what a joke! :D the city was absolutely empty, not even a single Russian. We experienced these bugs a while ago and i post this bug report a little bit late but i really want to play this mission again and right now it is impossible. Please Bon fix both Utes and Chernarus versions, our community loves your missions: they bring some fun in the milsim environment.

FAFw - Forces Armées Françaises Workshop
Lonestar replied to SoldierIsNotHistory's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
But the SARMAT situation was just the straw that broke the camel's back, Nico explained a few posts above the true reason of their withdrawal. Fafw team stopped developing the mod because they realized they were going to be exploited anyway once released. Do you really think these guies, among the best modders out there regarding the professional quality of their work, would have given up their passion only because of SARMAT? -

That's because you use the Release Candidate (RC) instead of the release version. You can get it here: http://arma2.ar.funpic.de/ -
+1 Logitech rocks Setting the map on one button is a brilliant idea. I had only thought of TS on one button so far. I use the version 2008 of this mouse (wider feet and 1800 dpi) As long as it is available on Logitech's website, you can find it.

It's cool to see everybody enjoys the game in a different way. As far as I'm concerned, I play coop on my community's server and I enjoy PvP from time to time. Although I don't have much time to play because i'm involved in other stuff for the community.

[aas50S] Battle for Krasnostav 1.6
Lonestar replied to BCA Cat Toaster's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - USER MISSIONS
Good job But you should definitely put back the AI option in the AAS missions, it would help public server admins to get more people joining. -
Hi everybody, Simple question: Why these game modes are not all selectable through mission selection screen ? Without using the wizard I can't select these gametypes for both Utes and Chernarus. I just want to host a TDM game like in the demo. What's wrong? Was it made on purpose? Important note: the gametypes names may be inaccurate because I use the French version of the game. Thank you

Reset the application, go to tab Options and click Reset. -
You also have this: http://www.gametracker.com/search/arma/?sort=players&order=desc About the daytime players, it depends on you time zone. But bear in mind that most players join a server after work or school/university. Although you will always find a host, but not always full of people.

ArmA 2 BE Client for Windows (32-bit) BE Server for Windows (32-bit) (Put these files into the BattlEye folder of your ArmA 2 application data directory - default is "C:\Documents and Settings\[user Name]\Local Settings\Application Data\ArmA 2\BattlEye" on Windows 2000/XP and "C:\Users\[user Name]\AppData\Local\ArmA 2\BattlEye" on Windows Vista/7) BE Server for Linux (32-bit) (Put this file into the BattlEye folder of your server install directory) http://www.battleye.com/download.html However it is not mandatory to have BE installed because some servers don't require it. I have a question: what are the files in the folder \Program Files\ArmA 2\BattlEye for ? I have this folder since the beta, should I remove it? Is it the actual installation folder? Thanks

I like the idea of being able to filter by country, thus for example french server admins could remove the [FR] tag in their server name.

Vanilla multiplayer DM, TDM, CTF...
Lonestar replied to Lonestar's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - MULTIPLAYER
No, not all. With Utes I can only select: With Chernarus i can only select: I don't want to edit anything, i was just wondering why these missions were not in the list like in the demo. They were really fun and easy to launch. If Deathmatch is a wizard mission how come i can select it in the Chernarus mission selection screen? Here i'm talking both hosted and dedicated, I get the same mission list. -
