Is it possible to create a custom face for your char. I have seen some for download, but i fail to find the - here is how you do it - article. the templates ive seen so far looks more like a terrible trafficaccident - Am I suppose to try to copy that? I remember from the old OFP days, that you could turn a personal photo into the face of your soldier? Is this still posible (if it ever was), and how do i do it? and IF i succeed will my face have to be uploaded to the server to be seen by my squad members? regards grethe

Hey all.,. I´m looking for a serious group of ArmaII players to join and thereby take me to the next step into world of tactical gaming. I have been playing since the dawn of OFP, and have kept my facination of this game ever since. I love the pace of this game, the planning, the waiting for the right moment, and all the tactical conciderations involved. I can enjoy playing shoot´em´up games, but only for a short while, then I find miself setting up training missions in the editor, trying to figure out how to aim a grenade launcher or what ever i wanna dive into. So... i would like so much to have someone to play with, train with and discuss the tactical aspects of this God of all milsims. I have done a lot of training (but... sniff oh so lonesome) and reading: Dsylecxi´s guide for one, I hope - but doubt - i have gotten better due to all theese studies. :-). Im living in Copenhagen, Denmark and would fancy a group that dont light up the fire between 02 and 05 AM - my local time. Im looking for a group with some continuity, to get to know and share my interest. (jezz.. is this what net-dating feels like? :-)). My PC rig is hardcore, im running NVidea surroundgaming (5760 * 1080) with two N580GTX and posesses a a TrackIR 4 Pro and Thrustmasters Hotas Cougar for my possibly apathetic chopper flying. I havnt yet added any mods to my installation wich comes from Steam containing Arma II CO, OA and BAF. Im on s 20/10 Mbit connection. I have been playing since the dawn of ofp, and have gotten completely hooked on arma II. Like many of you guys i suspect. I have been playing some mp with friends when possible, but i .... sadly .... suspect most of them to fancy CounterStrike-like shoot´em´up games much more than Arma. ...Sigh. So I have been looking around quite a bit searching for infomation about, clans, platoons, squads or what ever you call them, to find the right spot for me. I have been playing EVE online quite a bit, and im looking for something like EVEs presentation of coorporations (wich is "Guilds" in EVE terms). Aint there anywhere where groups of gamers announce themselves, and indicate if they accept applications? So if - say - i want to check out a european group of players, to train with, play with and discuss tactics. So... how do i become a part of this community? Where do i look? I just want to be sure - the missions are the same no matter at what level you play - storyline i mean, or is there maby more sidemissions in expert than in regular? regards

OK ill try... He he Relemar - right you are - yet real life wounded that can cry for help might add a "Im in front of the red house" or something. In my games wounded stays wounded unless i find them right away :-)

Nah sadly, once you start a campaign you cant chang the difficultylvl, except the props written en green - if not green no enable/disabling, and the green ones in expert are very few and does not include the show group in hud - meaning i have to restart the campaign (again again) with a diffucultysetting where i can choose wether or not to the group. Btw - prob was only around finding the woonded you get to heal - and without any hud...mmmm thoughone - any ideas anyone?

Hi all Say when you play at the Expert level ofc. there aint much help to get - but one thing really kills me, and thats when (during campaign) im ordered to heal somebody: "2 Heal 4"... now where the f... do i find 4? Leader prolly knows that im the nearest healty guy to 4 - but still - i can search for a loooong time until i strart replaying from last save - is the only way to ditch my expert campaign, make sure that group members are shown on the hud with little green arrows? or do i have an alternative suitable to keep playing on expert level? regards

Well m8 i can tell u no tweeking my gfx-card has made any diff :-)

The little box of 8 ( i think ) checkboxes that appears at the very beginning of the game load process never checks the last two boxes - what are they? 8 different modules loaded or a meter for how powerfull ur gfx-card is? en short - what do they represent? Regards

ya - Inkompetent i do agree - sort of... and I would mind if the game performance suffered, BUT never the less - If all vehicles were like the dedicated sims, one could be a specialist pilot, tank-commander or... what ever, and that WOULD add the the overall realism. But dont get me wrong - this is the best game i have ever played... Regards Pharman

Hi all. I dunno if this is the proper forum for this kind of q - if not plz forgive... :-) I have a little q that has haunted me since OFP, when - during missions - my commanding officer calls out. "3 target gunner" or what ever - how do i know my number? and close to that i have another q - when i play at Regular-level a little "v" tells me where im supposed to be. - this "v" ofc dissapears when playing expert, but how do i know where im supposed to be? GoTo Bush ... yarh right - what f... bush? Regards PHarmann

Yo all u arma fans. I have been a dedicated player since ofp was first released, and to me this is the absolute most sleep killing game i have ever played. But, i do also love flying - alle kinds af different flight sims, and though you can fly any plane or chopper you encounter, the flight sim part still is far from what im used to in dedicated sims - i especially think about the instruments, I would love them to be as visible and precise as i find them in a real flight sim. Any chance that is gonna be part of the game?
