  1. Anyone having issues with single-player save games? Maybe its the new beta or maybe its cipher 136 but anyway... I save often, and once it gets to the point where you have to overwrite your saves it seems like it is not always working unless you overwrite the most recent save. Anyone else see anything like this? Anyway... loving the mission as usual. I love the helo insertion and the truck and the loadouts. If some say it is easy you can always walk or have your team gear up without the weapons. I play spec op more often( love feeling outnumbered b.e.l.) but I do agree with a smaller unit size in task force (4-5 man team would be great) or better yet give a series of options for team size. By the way, I love options and the amount you have given us so far at startup is great, I love that, thanks so much. The time you have to wait for the suitcase to download is awesome, I was involved in an intense firefight the second I started downloading and broke off only to lose the code and had to redownload. It was so intense. additional civies would be good. I understand yourconcerns for bunching up in towns but I think of that as human nature with the civies panicing and trying to escape, causing some mass chaos, the sort of hysteria that you do not plan for but must improvise to overcome. Anyhow, the mission is top rate, the best there is IMO. All I could ask for is more options for stuff, I love options :yay: Great job and thank you again for making this and so regularly updating and most of all, thanks for so many great missions. I play late at night and every day after I am like an old man telling war stories when I go to work, retelling legendary battle stories that my co-workers love to hear. Pretty soon I'll have half the company playing this game based on my excitement of telling these stories alone. Keep up the great work!!!
  2. Same happened to me as well, Spec op lite. I finished the mission and hit restart to see if it replays the same parameters or a new location. Anyway, the chopper and pilots were frozen so I jumped out. I managed to survive. All else was ok but looking up I could still see the Chopper frozen in air. Strange!:eek:
  3. Maybe make that an option, I like that the objective is NOT always in urban areas. Those rural "hideout" encounters with the general are quite fun and add variety. :bounce3:
  4. There is only 1 general per game right? I did look all over, used command mode too. Perhaps I missed it but it was not in the near vicinity, I assure you and I did use the context menu to try and find at least the open suitcase message. Also, I usually get a mission update message when I kill the general but did not get one. Anyway, I kind of like the nastier ai, maybe only tone down the low ranking enlisted? Thanks as always, this mission is great. Just started a new task force mission, the red area is arround the devils stronghold, got to go to work but the first 15 minutes are even more intense then ever, having a blast, will talk later. :) :) :)
  5. Great so far, athe ai seems alot nastier? However, I killed the general in some grass behind a house but no suitcase to be found anywhere, and I mean anywhere. Logged back on here and seen update 126a so gonna try that and see what happens.:confused:

  7. I love the fact that you can call in the chopper where and when you want them. My suggestion would be let the player call the chopper; if he is denied give him another chance just like it is currently. However, if the player is denied on the 2nd attempt, then have them chopper dictate the rendezvous point. Don't know if that works for you or not, just a random thought. Anyway, glad to hear most of the work is done, I can't wait to get the new version. Thanks again for your efforts, absolutely love this mission. I just played for 1hr 23 min. I had a blast. The best time yet. Gotta go to sleep now but maybe later I could tell about it, it truly was spectacular!!!
  8. I also really prefer picking the landing zone. Maybe put in a random chance for deferred pickup?... Either way, great job, this is still my favorite mission. Can't wait to see the nrew stuff. :)

In regards to the stats, perhaps the riflemen x 5, general x 2, etc doesn't mean kills but refers to the number of times you hit that kind of target ( I do remember shoting the general 2 times). Maybe that is the case. Anyway, I love this scenario, a classic for sure. Will try tonight to get rescued again. I look forward to your continued support of this most wonderful mission. I hope in the future we can see mission variations along this theme. Thanks, keep up the great work. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!!!
  11. Love this scenario but... been playing every version so far. I am currently playing v 1.22. Love the new spec op mode, anyway... the mission plays great. I kill the general, find the case, open it, talk, it closes, it transmits, i go to safe spot, call chopper, it responds, flies to extraction point, lands, I board it... BUT then it just sits there. The two gunners stare into space while the pilot and I sit there and exchange casual glances at each other ( and I swear I can hear that uncomfortable elevator music in the background ;) ). Nothing happens and it never takes off. I revert and board before the chopper shuts down - no change. I revert and wait till the chopper stops completely then I board - no change. I then get board and frustrated so I kill the gunners and the pilot and board as pilot and fly away myself but then accidentally crash but manage to eject mere seconds before the chopper goes up in flames and survive to be greeted a few seconds later by a failure screen with the smoldering chopper in the background, too funny. I love this mission alot but perhaps could someone help me with why this happens and we don't fly off to safety? Also, in the map screen, under stats, it seems inaccurate. It was telling me my kills and it said riflemen 5, sappers 2, marksmen 2, general 2... but I am certain I did not kill that many men and did NOT think it was possible to kill 2 generals (and there was not 2 dead generals bodies, I checked before I hid them). Any ideas on that? Thanks for any help / info:confused:
