I've got question related to gas mask feature. Dunno if there was anything about it before. Anyways, I tried to change that config file (maybe I did something wrong) but gas mask just wont work... Also I've noticed that AA gun (turret) on Vulcan is not rotating when shooting (in case you didn't notice that...) -

I can't say how much I'm starting to feel dissapointed about many servers out there... I mean, I've just been on some French server playing Domination... I'll explain situation... I was in base, I teleported to battle area (Kozlovka in this case) cause there was no one flying choppers at the moment (and I HATE teleporting)... So, we cleared Kozlovka and I asked if someone can do EVAC with chopper and this was response from admin: ''Use teleport, chopper is for MHQ only!'' - WTF?!!!! What are you doing to Arma?!!! Choppers are being used ONLY to transport fucking teleports?!!! And what's funniest thing is, when you join server screen pops-up saying that server is realistic and that everyone should behave and play realistic... LOL?!!! oO Poor Arma... This is rape...

Thank you for your answer. 100% agreed! I did mistake, actually I was thinking about scratches, and you know that usual texturing at the top of barrel? Damage made by muzzle fire, etc..? Scratches...? That's what I wanted to point out but I put it wrong way. Anyways I would love to see that on weapons, because I've seen models, they are GREAT, a few scrathes on textures would make them look awesome! Then normal map on that to make them bumpy and VOILA! :bounce3: -

@Alex72 Truth is I've never seen real tracers, only footage on youtube. But still, the ones shown in that video look maybe a little bit overdone, don't you think? @ACE team Also, I'm not sure what the final result on those new weapons will be (and I admire your work, I'm a 3d modeler/texturer...) but what I've noticed from screens is they all look like brand new out of boxes... No dirt on textures, no damage, or am I wrong? I mean I'm talking about screens with that big sniper rifle and that grenade launcher with desert texture, they all look too ''new'' to me... But maybe I'm wrong... Please correct me if I am.... And please don't get me wrong, I know you're doing hard work, your achievements speak for themselves! -
First thing before anything else which MUST be fixed is that plane steering wheel handling... I mean did you try to turn it on runway?!!! What the hell BI?! It is impossible to taxi that thing...

Well, Hueys Hydras are calibrated at around 600m, so if you're aiming at 600-800m distance middle of crosshairs should be good BUT in most cases your chopper is moving while shooting rockets, so you got to take that into calculations too, I know in most games you can just aim rockets and they will hit where you aim, but in Arma 2 it's done as it would be in RL, so if you're moving around 60-120 (dunno what's speed unit in Arma 2) try aiming 1 or 2 slashes below target... It's not easy to explain, but once you train it you'll know exactly where to aim in which situation... -

I think I just found a new one - very irritating bug... 1.04 Artillery operator character - when in first person if you go aiming down the sight while crouching and try moving left or right (while still aiming down the sight) you can actually see your characters head on left side of screen... like if you were in 3rd person aiming down the sight and still can see your characters head... Here's a screen: So, in the picture you can't see, but I'm actually moving to the left while crouched and aiming down the sight. -

1.04 Since 1.03 G36C-SD aiming is FUBAR, you must aim few inches BELOW target to actually hit target... -
If someone is noob he wont score enough to fly anything (that's why we have RANKED EVO) and also that's why we have engineers that will repair things... I mean... EVO didn't have MHQ in start (in Arma 1) and there was nothing wrong with it... I recall I always used to be an engineer and I would love to repair things... MHQ has nothing to do with that... MHQ + UNLOCKED version EQUALS bunch of noobs screwing around....

OMG LoL!! That wallpaper made me laugh... OMG, how can one call this game simulator..?! Anyways, here's a short quote of one guy on YouTube: Guys nick is seandray And i obviously have played both of these games this game is more of an arcade style shooter (he's talking about Arma 2 being arcade shooter) i dont think its anywhere near a military sim OFPDR has better graphics and the online isnt crowded with people that lay on the floor and spray so up yours P.s. OFPDR isnt anything like cod LOOOOL!!!!

I must agree on this... I mean, though you (Razor and other modders) left option to disable MHQ and similar stupidities I can't find one server with actually MHQ disabled... What I recommend is to simply create old style EVO Blue and EVO Red without MHQ, HALO from base (HALO from choppers and planes are awesome but NOT FROM BASE FLAG!!!) Also HITCHING script from Mando is awesome too... ''T'' menu is awesome and doesn't need any modifications IMHO, only thing that bothers me is that it refuses to save Terrain Grid (terrain level of detail) setting for some reason... Whenever you set it then close and again open menu with ''T'' Terrain Detail just returns to Low/Off (Grid 50)... You could try to fix that... Anyways thank you for delivering such awesome missions! Btw. there's one russian version of EVO Red v0.95 or v0.96 that is most similar to what EVO used to be but I'd like to see EVO Blue also and this russian version is mainly in... well... russian... which can be a bit of problem for english speaking users....

OK guys thanks a lot! Now if anyone could help me with my biggest problem at the moment; CTD when exiting car... And also... I have no bloody idea how to make such a script (''boost'' script)... Could anyone explain it to me? Thanks in advance and I must say that you have been very helpful to me and I really appreciate your efforts. *EDIT* Oh and also, I'm not sure who is doing wrong calculations here, but if my car top speed is 330 kph (which it should be), than I have to turn it in meters per second which is (if I'm correct) -> 330 * 0,27778 = 91,6674 m/s So that means my maxValue parameter for speed indicator should be 91,6674 ? Also game accepted maxSpeed parameter for car to be in kph which is 120 atm... I don't think maxSpeed is defined in m/s... only maxValue parameter
