When I launch the game i got a black screen with "out of range". After some search on this forum i tried to launch the game with "-window". It works, the game launches in a window. But in the option game i can't set 1680x1050 resolution. I set 16/10 format in advanced graphical options, but the choices of resolution are just 1600x1200 ; 1200x900 ; 1064x800 ; 800x600 and other lower choices. I tried to edit Arma2.cfg but i don't understand it very well (what are WinX and winY ? What is the difference against Windef_W and Render_W ? etc.) Here is a copy of my CFG : I tried to change these lines : After that i launch the game (again in windowed mode), but in option the resolution highlighted is 1676x1020 !!! :( What should i do to have a game that can launch on fullscreen ? To have a 1680x1050 resolution ? Help ! (Precision : game not on steam ; vista ; hardware OK for the game ; patch 1.03)

I can't do that, if I launch the game not-in-windowed-mode, the screen is black (+ out of range info) and I can't cancel it, I can't do ctrl+ alt+del or ctrl+escape, I'm forced to shut down the computer with on/off button, so it doesn't save the CFG. ---------- Post added at 12:21 AM ---------- Previous post was Yesterday at 11:58 PM ---------- Problem solved : I launch the game > black screen + out of range > I do ctrl+alt+del (the screen stays black...) > I do 4 times down arrow (to select the gestionnaire des tâches - I don't know english name for that, "task menu" or something like that) > I close Arma 2. Then the CFG has now a line at its end : "refresh=75;" I change it to "refresh=60;" and it works. Ce jeu est fini à la pisse, as we say in France.
