WW2 Desert pack - North Afrika 1941-1943
Fuzzmaster replied to bennie1983nl's topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I don't know if other people have the same problem, but when I try to open the .zip, I have an error message telling me there is an unexpected end of archive. :butbut: I tried to redownload it, but I have the same problem... -

Looking good, I'm downloading it right now :) Thanks a lot. -
About 3, I'm afraid this isn't possible with the original ofp engine, I never saw any 3d ironsight. But maybe I'm wrong.

Good news :) Waiting for all this. -
I know it's a bit off-topic as well as indiscreet, but is there a good reason why your modder wants to stay secret?

Ok, thanks for your quick answer. I didn't know you were against llauma's head. Keep up the good work, it's really impressive :)

Looks really promising -
Looks really great. I second what said Rellikki, one of the best units I ever saw for ofp, who needs Arma II with that :) Maybe it was already asked, but will you use Llauma head models on your units? Last question, I know I already asked this, but you didn't know last time, is your high-level-and-top-secret-modder planning to do a woodland marpat version of the marines units?

Hi, I'm back with a few new pictures of the BTR. Things are progressing slowly, I realized my model wasn't based on a really acurate and correct pattern so I decided to restart things from scratch. I think my new BTR looks a bit more realistic now : Now the hull is over, I will start to put details on it. By the way, if any of you have pictures of the inside of the vehicule, is it possible to send it to me? Because I lack of good pictures, there might be some mistakes so don't hesitate to post comments about the model.

Hi to all, After been playing at ofp for 9 years, I have decided I should start making some addons :p. I have decided to work on addons that don't exist, so my first project is the BTR-90, using Anim8tor for that. I have 3 early WIP pictures to show you (really early :D) : I will have a lot of work in the next 2 months so don't expect regular news from me. Any advice or critics are welcome.

Thanks for your quick answer :D

Good ;) Well, now I can ask you 2 small questions : - in what side will be the argentinian and the english armies. They were both armies from the western side. Will you put one army under the western side and one army under the resistance side? -is your mod still planned for ArmA I or have will you release everything for Arma 2? Anyway, I hope to have news from your mod soon ;)

Good to see you aren't dead :p

Don't worry. I think I will create 3 configs : 1 with the RHS crew, one with the ORCs crew and one last with the standard BIS crew. But right now, I'm still working on the model itself, config is for later ;) By the way, 3 new pictures, I know it doesn't look really impressive, but at least things are progressing. I know there is a mistake in the front of the vehicule (close to where the front wheel should be), I will correct that soon. Any comments are of course welcome, if you see a mistake in the model, tell me, I will correct that ;)

Ok, I'm glad to hear that :D Thanks for not forgeting Arma I players ;)
-
Oh... Bad new for Arma I players, I thought you were supposed to release one last patch for us, the 1.05. Well, nevermind, thank you for the patch 1.04 and for your dedicated work in general on Arma, CSLA is one of my favorite mod. :D Maybe one day I will have a computer enough powerful to play at CSLA on Arma II ;) Good luck on Arma II and thanks again.

Hehe, reminds me a lot of fun on OFP :D Actually, I have no problem with the fact you release it first on ArmA I, because my computer isn't powerful enough for ArmA II :D Anyway, the pictures looks really nice, keep up the good work ;) -
Too bad, thanks anyway :icon_sad:

Fuzzmaster replied to marcomio's topic in ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Very nice, as usual. I wasn't shocked by the "far distance-pattern-problem", so it isn't a problem, you can keep it like that :D -
Do you know if a btr 90 has been released? I have been looking on ofp.info, there was one but was a bit too old. Thanks :)
-
Yeah, thank you so much for that release :)

FAFw - Forces Armées Françaises Workshop
Fuzzmaster replied to SoldierIsNotHistory's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Well, maybe you are happy to see other people using your work without asking you, but not everybody share your vision and you should respect that... Addons-makers are doing addons because it's a hobby, they are doing this for free and the only thing that many of them want in exchange is a certain respect of their work. And the best way to respect their work is simply asking them when you want to use and/or modify their addons. Maybe it's not a written rule but that's just basic politeness and respect for people using their free time for the rest of the community, and it shouldn't be reminded everytime a team stops its work because of a minority using their addons without authorization. -
