yup this is happenign to me to. I just started using a 360 controller so TAB never worked on my X button. Did you end up finding a work around?

Is anyone able to play ACR with BAF and PMC on 1.62? i can only access acr stuff on 1.62. vice versa, i can only access baf and pmc stuff on 1.6, no acr.

So arma 2 oa locks up (freezes) indefinitely when I chose to continue from my campaign. It just hangs there at the menu screen. I have to ctrl-alt-delete to shut down the game. I've tried searching but I haven't found a single thread that has any good info in it. People seem to just forget about the issue and never come back to the threads they start:confused: this only happens with one mission though. ACRs 'Dum Spiro Spero' everything else seems to be working correctly AFAIK heres all my details. and thank you for taking the time to read this. Arma 2 OA 1.6295 with BAF, PMC, and ARC all on steam. Windows 7 64bit 240gb OCZ Vertex3 (game is installed here w/ windows) 1TB WD Black (savegame is here) nVidia GTX 670 stock settings Intel i7 2700k @ 5ghz (tested at stock speeds, no luck) 8gb DDR3 WB green 2tb (media storage) Soundblaster titanium soundcard gtx 550ti physx card (obviously not used in arma!) This is what I've managed to try myself so far. verify integrity of game cache through steam tried -safemode, -window, exthreads=4, cpucount=2 Notes: whenever I launch arma2oa, I get the decryption of headers failed error. I still haven't been able to fix that. Also whenever I run verify integrity on steam, 1 file always fail to validate and has to be reacquired. it also asks me to uninstall acr every time i run verify.

I just finished Wind Storm, and my game keeps freezing when I try to load Dum Spiro Spero. As soon as I click the 'continue' button. It even froze right after I finished Wind Storm heading into the next level. Any ideas on how to get this mission working? thanks!!! Oh and ACR is flawed at times, but when it gets it right, its awesome! ps. 100% vanilla arma 2 (no dayz) w/ all dlcs. v.1.6295

How is this STILL a bug? I just picked ACR from a Steam sale expecting glitches like this to be resolved by now. This was what released in August? sheesh

I am in the same boat as the OP. I recently went to reinstall Arma2CO cuz of all the DayZ hype, but I cant find my Arma2 disc at all, and my OA disc is heavily damaged it wont finish installing. Other publishers and developers have replaced my physical cd keys with a digital copy. (such as EA with origin.) OA was one of the last physical games I purchased anyway. I would loooove BIS if they could exchange my legit physical cd keys for a digital download somewhere, like steam. :bounce3:

got mine to work!This is how. 1. Uninstall ArmA 2 and all expansions. 2. Open 'regedit' from W7 Start menu search. 3. Search for "bohemia interactive" in regedit. delete entries. (becareful deleted entries in regedit can harm your system. do your research before you modify your registry. i made a system restore point) 4. Install ArmA 2. Patch to 1.09 5. Install ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead. 6. Install British Armed Forces and Private Military Company (or ArmA 2: Reinforcements) 7. Patch to 1.59 8. Enjoy :-) Not saying this can work for all. but it worked for me.

can anyone tell me how to delete all BI entries in my registry?

arma 2 is steam with latest patch. OA is non steam previous patch. no beta patches. every time i try to install the newest patch i get said error. i tried reinstalling oa with a different directory but i still couldnt install the newest patch. i downloaded the file twice from two different sources. maybe i should uninstall it again and delete any BI files from my registry. then install and give it another shot.

I have retail ArmA 2 and Steam Arma 2 : Operation Arrowhead. What method do I need to follow to combine these? Im not asking for a step by step, but simply which method to use. (A2OA was a gift for my bday, thus i got the boxed copy not steam)

wow ive found some excellent missions from this community lately. after recently playing EW, i need more for my chopper fix. does anyone have/know a good chopper user mission. basically just fly around blowing sh!t up? looking forward to getting my hands on some more death from above!
