  1. This is pretty hilarious to me how everyone here says speak for myself but most of you agree with at least one point on my list some with more than one. Go figure lol. That is what really perplexes me. Results so far: (with only 11 posts) #1:+1 #2:+2 #3:+2 #4:+3 #5:+.5 #6:+2 @pufu: All modules are not MP-Dedicated compatible. At least to the point where mission makers will actually use a UAV or ULB. Modules were designed to make the creators life easier. I am suggesting, make it easier. @Dmarkwick: If people make a model that looks nice. BIS has rights to it because at some point you had to use a BIS tool to port it to the game. Thus making it theirs. Did I really need to spell that out for you? So, why do any of these improvements have to deal with bugs? I never mentioned that this post was only about bugs. It is a list of things to improve on. As stated above, a tank is a tank, a chopper a chopper, a unit a unit, a gun a gun. You can reskin em all day, doesn't change gameplay. Is it wrong to point out things that are flawed by design? If that is a rule somewhere, please point me to it. In fact, the only bug here is that Handgrenade toss thing. And to whoever said you don't move when you throw a nade.... right, whatever helps you sleep well at night. Running and throwing a nade is probably not done that often, but is that what I am asking for?

  3. pffft Real life... you gotta be kidding me. Anyone who plays these games gets hooked to the ArmA Crack. No excuses Silola hahaha. Hopefully we can see these updates soon and have them in a script format and addon format.

    I don't know if someone brought this up already but the disappearing Mobile tent might be due to the fact some people do not have ARMA2 and the script I believe uses the default Mash from ArmA2 and not OA.

    How do you do the quick side-step?

    So, has anyone figured out how to get this animation to work like 100% of the time instead of when it feels like it. I mean, it seems to only work 40% of the time. I don't know if it just comes down to the timing of the key strokes or what...
  6. Well, I did not feel like reading through 32+ pages at the time of my original post, I tried searching through this post using a keyword "scripts" but there were a ton of hits. Figured just asking would be easier. I am not trying to rush anything, I am just curious, that was all.

    Ambient Combat Module

    Has there been reports of whether or not this works in MP(dedicated server)? among all the other options I have this [["BIS_TK_GUE","BIS_INS"], BIS_ACM] call BIS_ACM_setFactionsFunc; Now it seems to want to still spawn BLUFOR Units. The only explanation I come to is that since my soldier that the ACM is synced to is a BLUFOR unit. BLUFOR automatically goes in the list. However, I might just be a crazy nut job. Another thought, everyone seems to be syncing the ACM with the player/playable slot. How about syncing it with a non-playable civilian or something to that effect? Thanks. ***Suggestion: If you are one of those people that say, "I wish there was a basic scripting tutorial." I got a crazy idea for you. How about you actually LOOK for a tutorial. I know, sounds nuts right? Now, for those of you who say the module doesn't work.... how about you take your dam ADD meds and actually sit in the mission for lets say, 20min. Then tell us the module doesn't work. It is hilarious to see people say "it doesn't work" when people in this thread are clearly stating it does spawn units... --------edit-------- http://www.ofpec.com/forum/index.php?topic=28702.0 is a link to a basic SQF tutorial. I found it in less than 5min. Let me suggest to those who claim know nothing go to the ofpec.com site, that is much more suited for noob scripters, versus threads like these where people talk in crazy a$$ jargon that a noob wouldn't understand. Don't worry, I was once a noob too.

  11. OPX buildings are free to use.... but do not claim the work of creating them. All the buildings from what I have seen are OPX and none have been custom made, at least from the SS. So, you might be correct it is possible that the author is making other buildings, no proof of that has been made though.

Did you ever ask Opteryx for permission to use HIS buildings..... dont claim another artists work please, these are not new buildings they have been out since ArmA1 and the release of Avgani island.
