Upon dabbling in the editor of Arma 2 I have run into a rather severe problem.
Anytime I attempt to save a mission in the editor I am greeted with the following message "Saving of mission failed!" he filename doesn't seem to make any difference as a single character such as "a" or a full sentence results in the same outcome. In an attempt to troubleshoot I sought out the missions folder and there inside it was a folder with the name of the mission, but no contents.
I have taken the following steps to attempt to remedy the problem.
I checked every relevant directory i could think of for a read only flag (none found)
Reinstalled (5 times) (no change)
I am Running windows Vista
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

P.S. For troubleshooting purposes is there any way to change the location that Arma 2 saves to?
