Okay, so I've found the graphics card, but it's telling me that I need to get Vista before I can get the Windows 7 voucher. **Edit** I've decided to ditch the Infinity 9000 computer, it was turning out to be waay over priced. I'm looking at a different one, about $700 less with similar/same components. Thank you for your help thus far. I'll be back :)

ch 123, thank you for your advice. Here is the updated list, how does it look? http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/saving/show.asp?id=2080924 I haven't changed the mouse or speakers, I plan to swap them in the future anyway. I would have switched the graphics card to your recommendation, but they do not have it among their options. I will most likely upgrade when I get more money, however. Will this rig run ArmA 2 at max settings with a good frame rate in the middle of a massive battle? Can't wait :bounce3: Thanks

What's up with the physics in this game?

    ArmA 2 version 2.0, maybe? :bounce3:

Hello everyone! I'm looking to buy a new computer, instead of upgrading or building my own. I need an opinion. http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/saving/show.asp?id=2080198 I have my eye on this Infinity 9000 GS. I customized it, so it seems to have the ARMA 2 requirements. To me, it seems to be the perfect package. I, however, have no experience with computers outside of the screen. Will it run ARMA 2 at max settings(when it comes to graphics) with 40-60 FR minimum? What needs to be changed, if anything? I thank you all for your time. **Edit In case the link doesn't work, here are the specs. If I'm missing info, please do let me know. 5. Hey all, I'm looking to buy a brand spankin' new gaming computer. I'm not a computer savvy person, and I'm rather short on cash, so I'm having trouble looking. Right now I'm looking at an Alienware laptop, the "M17 17-inch Extreme Gaming Laptop". The Link : http://www.alienware.com/products/m17-notebook.aspx?SysCode=PC-LT-M17&SubCode=SKU-DEFAULT My question is - Will this computer run ARMA 2 at highest graphics settings with minimum 40FRs? If not, could I get links to better computers that can? Thank you all for your time. I can't wait to buy ARMA 2.
  6. Sure, there's a sticky, but that's for 'my current system'. Perica is simply asking if certain upgrades will enhance or degrade performance / if certain upgrades are compatible with each other. I do not believe that his question belongs in that forum, IMHO. In other news, I'm sorry I can't help you Perica, I'm absolutely de-smartified when it comes to computers.

    Arma3 announced !

You are the weakest link. Good bye. :D

Tell me this didn't just happen.

All this may be, and most definitely is true in real life, however I doubt that all this is taken into equation in this game. Don't quote me on it though, as I do not own ARMA or any OFP games. Just thought I'd throw my two cents in here.
  9. I agree! Despite the fact I do not own a system capable of playing the game, nor do I own the game itself.
  10. Bogdan, to the left under the persons avatar you will see a little triangle with a red outline, that's you're button. Those planes look great, good job!

    UH-60 BlackHawk in Arma 2?

From what I've heard there is not a UH-60 Blackhawk, however there is an HH(?)-60 Seahawk, the Marine version of the Blackhawk. Basically the same aircraft.

    Rappel from Helicopter

I don't believe Marines rappel from helicopters, however I could be wrong.

    ArmA2 - The Xbox 360 thread

I wish to buy ARMA 2 for PC, but right now I do not have a gaming computer. I wish to buy a good gaming setup and a copy within the next three years. I will most likely be investing in Dragon Rising on the 360, and will most definitely buy ARMA2 if it comes out for the 360. The thing is, I'm not sure if a console version is confirmed for DR, and from what I've read here, ARMA2 may not be hitting consoles for quite some time, if at all.
