graphics bugs with ATI 4800 series (4850/4870/4890)

I bought ArmaII yesterday and got fustrated. When searching this thread I found that Im not the only one with exact same flikkering texture problem. I got a 512 MB ATI 4870. Running RivaTuner, which controls the fan speed much better than the ati drivers. Anyway - its not a temperature issue. Looking for a solution...
