  1. Well, i think you have a point there with the console and pc thing. But for me personaly i build a computer to work on. as a game doesn't work i don't remove stuff from it to be able to play. On the other hand as you continue your story you talk about rebooting the system with less ram. That is possible as i want to see if it works. As it will work i can reboot the system using less ram to play the game and for other things i start it like normal. Thanks for the tip and trying it right after i post this. For about the game updates...i use a demo to get impressed before i even think of buying a game so that update fix doesn't aply for me i guess. Cheers. edit: Clownman or whatever your name was, thanks a lot! :) I lowered my 8gigs down to 2gigs in msconfig and it is working perfect! what a beauty of a game, now i understand what you said about putting 200 aside to play this game! Going to buy me a copy wooow!
  2. If i have to lower my ram in order to play Arma II that means i won't buy a copy of it. Not going to put 200 euro's aside to play a game. My system above all games. Everything should be build to work on a computer not building a computer to work on a game.
  3. Hi Kremator, Yeah have thought about it since i have the release candidate version right here. However i just installed everything, including games on Vista 64bit. All working good right now except this Arma II Demo version from STEAM. Besides that i wanna install my musicprogram Cubase 5 and all tools on it as well. Don't know if Windows 7 release candidate will support all of this yet. Still going in consideration if i should try it just to see how my system will do on benchmarking with Windows 7 and ofcourse Arma II. But ofcourse i want everything to run under x64 version of whatever OS i use because of my 8gigs of ram. Thanks for the tip.
  4. Finaly i find a topic with similar problems that i encounter with my EAH HD 4890 GPU 900mhz Memory 1025mhz. Asus Rampage Extreme Core 2 Duo 3,33 (4,3Ghz clocked) 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz ram Lots of Fans that make my computer never reach 60 degrees at max! I have mostly blocks in my screen playing the demo. I won't buy this game as i can't even play it to see if i like it. Please help me out here or refer me to a page with the answer explained. Thanks. Not gonna read all pages. ow, and i use Windows Vista X64. Have made all adjustments on my ATI Catalist controlcenter and did not work for me. I have all latest drivers DX, ATI drivers, Vista x64 updates, just nothing works... I wanna get this game so bad but as it doesn't work i will not buy a copy. First that demo have to work.
