Is this really the closest to realism? Because strangely, some of the afghan fire-fight footage have different gun sounds.

Well, then I'm sorry. What I meant is the apache doesn't have all the functions the real one has, like MFD and etc. Since you are making the apache as realistic as possible, I assume you want all of its software to be as realistic as possible as well right? Then wouldn't it be hard to do?

FLIR has been possible since OA. What you're talking about is the inability to display a picture from TADS on the MFD.Well yeah, I do know it works in OA. What I meant is that the apache in OA isn't as realistic as the one in real life.

So since you are doing the hardware, is anyone doing the software? Like FLIR, and all kinds of shit. And I heard you can't use FLIR in realtime, due to some render to texture shit thing.

I hope the released version has the Refleks missiles as ammo for the main gun rather than a third weapon, being able to "double tap" a target with sabot and a missile is just absurd.Also how about making blown ERA tiles part of the vehicle's damaged textures?

Also, is it possible to implement a airburst round into ACE? I think it might be great for those grenade launchers.

1 thing that struck me the most is airburst. For example, I threw a grenade, but I threw it too high, and it explodes in mid air. Problem is, the explosions happened about 1.5m in the air, and my target is not affected in any way. Same goes for projectiles. I'm hoping something could be done.

Sickboy, is it possible for you to make the guns match the guns used by combat troops in afghanistan more? Also, maybe a possibility of a variant of m4 with a aACOG and with the bipod handgrip used on the m27?

No, the BIS model uses the cast turret from the early T-90 (production from 1995) similar to the T-72's turret.The T-90A which is the one that's seen more widespread production for Russia's military since 1999, has a different, welded turret.

The reason why I've said using them as units in OA/Arma 2 is because people can make missions, and then let others play with it. So you can't use them in the editor as units right? Just want to be clear.
Also, will PR be in a folder, like the current addons and mods where you have to type in @mod to play, or do you have your own installer, and mod icon.

You all know the red flag on the hood of the uparmoured humvee right? I want to get rid of it, because its annoying to me. Is it possible for someone to teach me to get rid of it?

Nice work NZX. If possible can you make one with a 50 cal with a scope? Much like the 50 cal in BAF.
Also, I don't remember Humvees having a red flag, and if possible can you make one without the red flag?

hey wanted to say Ive almost got the front cockpit ready for some screen shot. but i was thinking about the pilots for the plane . it would look funny with the bis pilots and i don't have the skill to make a pilot so if anyone would like to help with that it would be awesome .Yep, would be nice to have some pilots in those space suits. And they can be used not only for your plane too!
