    Campaign ideas...

    Something similar to what happen in Afghanistan? Maybe look at some of the large scale operations that happened there.

  11. Somehow, when I try to install the new 1.05 patch so that I can update the darn ACE addon, but somehow, I get this little box poping out: error found in file addons\mission_ew.pbo(1c9d942d!=ff8198c6) I tried deleting the file, doesn't help. Plus, I downloaded the mirror twice!

  13. I'm not too sure if this goes into scripts or addons.....So if I am wrong, can a mod move this to the correct place? The thing I am talking about, is that. A smart cluster bomb. Right now, I'm not too sure if it is possible for it to break into tiny canisters in mid-air, open up a parachute, and dispersing the projectiles, and allow it to lock on to a target. And I think the only way is to have some bomb, with mines attached to it, and a parachute attached to it. the hard part is where the skids fire up their rocket motor and independently find and destroy the targets. I have no experience in scripting, so I think this is close to impossible to work in Arma 2. WHat are your thoughts?

  15. I think this have been sugested before......but I can't find anything related..... So what I wanted is this: Like in far cry 2, being able to fire smoke rounds to target, and then fire mortars on your target. In Arma 2, you can't do that. I want to be able to send some mortar squads, and when I ask the AI to mortar a spot, they will listen and mortar the area. This will be helpful for lazy arses like me, who doesn't know how to code a script to make mortars work.

  17. Heh, I'm a little late in this, but this crashed for me. And when I go into the editor, everything is blank for me. I can see the P85 sections, but when I go into air, units and etc. they are all blanks!
  18. Eariler I tried testing the UAV, and it gives me a static for the FLIR. I do not know what causes it, possibly addons? Same thing happened for that Apache camera mod. I get static when I go into FLIR mode. Any way of fixing this? I'm sorry if I made too many threads in a day......

  21. I hope this is the right place to post this, cause I'm not too sure. Is it possible to make explosive reactive armor explode after being hit by RPGs? And making the disappear after being hit? The Reactive armor on the M1A2 doesn't seem to do much......
