Hi, I came home to a trojan/virus infected computer the other day, courtesy of my wonderful girlfriend, and one of the side-effects was everything slowed down to a crawl including ArmA 2; massive mouse-lag coupled with less than half the regular FPS I was used to before it happened (as these types of things often go...)
Naturally I assumed this was due to my operating system's new virus companion and I since have done a completely clean installation of windows, downloaded the patches etc and reinstalled the game again... except now I have a new problem; the game runs exactly the same as before the cleaning session...
Is this a possible side-effect of FADE? I'm thinking, worst case scenario in my mind, some little bastard downloaded the serial keys of all my installed games and has since distributed them and subsequently had some/all blacklisted... I dunno, it seems possible, this happened over a week ago and I've only had time to fix the PC today...
I just would like to know if FADE can possibly cause poor performance like this or if I should be looking elsewhere.... if it is possible, would it also be possible to contact someone within bohemia to see if mine has been? I just would like to be able to play this when I actually have the time rather than chasing my tail around like this, its slow to the point of being unplayable at the moment.
