    C1987 Handgrip Weapons

I had this problem while porting arma addons to arma2. I have red that it could happen if a weapon is not using the zasleh proxy for the muzzle flash or if there are dxt5 alpha channel textures. This doesn't happen with vanilla bis textures only if custom dxt5 textures are applied. However I have also encountered weapons with custom dxt5 textures which worked flawlessly. I found no solution to the issue but I am not a modelling artist, good luck!
  2. Just some questions: Will you include M203 or AG36 versions of your HK416, will you add ACOG and Aimpoint versions, will you make versions with stock fully extended and will you include the HK417, too? Christian1987 uses a custom anim for his M4s, its not perfect but working...

    US Army 2009 Units

I really regret the fact that you dropped the weapon pack. I also recognized the fact that the handgrip was placed "unlikely", however it was looking good ingame and I am sure you are aware that Christian1987 uses a custom anim for his M4s. Vertical grips are currently issued and used widely, not all versions are very cute. I have seen pics of Marines using GRIP-POD bi-pod vertical grips on M16s and M4s. These grips are large and look really ugly on an M4, however they are used. To come to the point: Good weapon pack, I would recommend to make a seperate addon with these weapons included (just some config work) so everyone is free to choose the prefered version. By the way I prefered your (or vilas) vertical grip placement since the anim works very smooth while c1987s version looks a bit strange if used on a model with short sleeves.
  4. I was really looking forward to this or some of your other units beeing ported... Will there be a serious version or will you stick to the "pumpkin-issue"?
  5. Hi everyone! I had the same problem others stated. Once I added the paa plug-in PS was not working correctly (missing dll) and paa's did not show up/could not be opened. I modified the registry path but it did not helped... So the solution was to put the missing dlls DIRECTLY INTO THE PS DIRECTORY! It works now with both Arma and Arma2 textures. Thanks Keg!
