Ty, I think I'll get windows 7 and reinstall everything like u king.

Do u think it is a problem with my video card or my CPU/RAM

I have done all these things but it is still having video lag.

i put your -maxmem=1024 and -winxp into the lauch option for arma 2 in steam. i then lauched arma but it was still had video lag like before. anymore ideas or did i do the wrong thing.

i have a problem were not always but most of the time my arma2 has intense video lag. everything just slows down and twitches. this sometimes goes on for days and then it works perfectly fine again. it normally happens if i change the video settings or just out of the blue like this morning. i was playing last night perfectly fine turned off my PC then this morning its just lagging. i have a NVIDIA WinFast PX8800GT video card with 2.0 GPU. my CPU is a Intel® core 2 quad CPU, Q6700 @ 2.66Ghz, 2.67 Ghz and i have 2GB of RAM. can someone tell me why it is so laggy and how to fix it.:confused:
