Its pretty hard to see enemies against the long grass and trees in Arma 2, OA has mostly quite bare ground which makes it a bit easier to see, sometimes opening your map and pressing shift+ left mouse on a enemy puts a waypoint which can show you where theyre hiding.

The driving controls can be made better by changing the mouse left from "car more left" to "car left" and obviously the same with the right, I think they should have made it this way by default.

If your using any mods/expansions try removing those. -

Yeah using expansions/mods in OA caused problems with most of the missions in Boot camp for me. unticking the mods sorted it for me, guessing your having a different problem. -

I had this problem, I unactivated the expansions I had running in OA, then the boot camp missions worked fine. -

Very nice units! would make a nice replacement pack specially for the UKF vehicles looking forward to the temperate ones. -
This is one of my most played missions, always nice when you want to get straight into the action. Maybe something similar to this cached units script may help with performance. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=97372&highlight=cached

I think ACE2 has a few of these type of things! -
You can use the British 3rd Para (full desert) instead of the mixed ones, seems to work fine.

No grass on Utes here to, The Kulima map has the same effect on Utes for anyone trying to isolate the problem. -
No civs for me either, tested with no mods apart from Duala 1.6!

Just tested 1.4 and I now have a crash after the first mission "Warlord Hunting", which possibly means the third mission (which is now the second mission) may be the problem. I tested it with no addons whatsoever so it would be interesting to see if anyone else has the same problem?

Unfortunately 1.3 is still causing a crash at the end of S&D.

Just tried the single mission in the editor, used the end mission cheat and it went to the debriefing without a crash so I think its cured the crash hopefully! it would be nice to carry on through the campaign. Looking forward to the Iraq campaign to!

I always get a crash at the end of "search and destroy" using no addons and Arma2 1.05, the same goes for previous versions of this campaign to.
