  2. i think i managed to stop the crashing. Ive updated all the Ace mods and downloaded some beta patch for Arma that had alot of bugfixes etc. havnt crashed yet after 3 missions :). Found another little problem tho. got the mission for the weapons cache so i figured to bring some satchel charges. Picked the Bizon + satchel charges loadout but i couldnt deploy the charges :(. Didnt get the option in the scroll down menu.
  3. Hey there just wanted to ask a quick question and say Thanks for an just awesome mission/campaign :) Im having Ctd issues on my first mission involving the weapons cache. Ive snuck around in the woods for like 15-20 minutes and finally got into an Epic ambush position. My Ai buddies are all on hold fire and every time i choose "fire at will" options the guys manage to get of 1 or 2 shots off then the game crashes. A lonley tear fall down my chin every time because i can manage to kill all the 5-6 guards in 10 seconds if the game dont crash >.<. Just wondering is this a problem with the mission involving the weapons cache (seen 1 or 2 similare post reading thru this thread) or is it because im using the ACE mods?. Edit: Tried another mission and same deal. I sneak up with all my 5 ai buddies on hold fire. And when i choose to open fire the game crashes after a few shots. Thx again for an awesome mission and sorry for any bad grammar :P.
  4. Ive just tried my first online game and it was the Warfare BE V2.052 Lite @ACE2 mission it was love at first sight. So much was changed from the original game and i liked it alot. My question is. How can i launch this map on a lan game to playaround in myself? So much new stuffs that i would like to take my time to check everything out some more before i head back in to another multiplayer mission. Since i joined it on the web and it started to download some mission files shouldnt i have the map somewear on my computer? Thanks in Advance / Jokk.   5. Hey ive been playing around in the editor for a while now. been able to create some pretty fun cenarios with all kind of stuff flying around. I scrolled through the forum here for tips and info and found out that you could create a cenario that would allow me to become a commander and build units ingame using the factorys and so on. Kinda like an Rts but first person So heres the cenario i would like to create. a multiplayer map for me and my friend just 1vs1. 2 bases one Us and one Rus and i would love being able to start out with just 1 construction site and from there building my base. add prices to units and buildings and putting out ransoms for killing enemy ai soldiers. is it insanley hard to create something like this? if any1 would be so kind to explain the basis of it just so i could get started or point me in the direction of an guide/post that explains it and i would be ethernaly grateful :). Im a big fan of learn by doing so just the ground rules then i can carry on from there :) Thanks in advance Jokkers
  6. Hey there. ive just gotten my hands on a vehicle respawn script wich is pretty nice. The script works as intended. 30 seconds after its destroyed it respawns but it respawns empty. Im just making singleplayer maps to play around in and i want the vehicle to respawn with its crew. Im trying to make an endless warzone to play around in. how can i make the vehicle respawn with its crew instead of respawning empty?     quick question :)

    so ive started superpowers map. and just bought a artillery pice. how in the world do i get a target to start a fire mission. ive looked all around the forum and there is only posts about how u get it to work in the editor etc. Ive tried to google it and nothing there either. Is it just me thats stupid or is it just that hard to use a artillery cannon? Thx in advance jokk

  9. Ive downloaded an mod that added some new helicopters to the game. What do i have to do to add them in a multiplayer map? I Tried to add them to the Superpowers map and sync them to the warfare module there. I checked the other vehicles that are standing around and they dont have any special script on them. But every time i start the map the start location is different and there is no choppers there. It would be perfect if i could add them so that they respawns near the Hq as the Humvees does alternativley if its possible to add them to the ingame buy meny and add a price to them. Any of the 2 options is fine by me. Please help :) thanks in advance / jokk

I got an idea for a small addon if its possible to make i dont know :P Anyway it would be awesome if there was an addon that just adds quick selections for the diffrent teams you can assign to your groups Eg Red, Blue, white etc. Ive looked all over the control scheeme and havnt found anything there. I think that this would help alot when your trying to manage a larger force during example an Warfare map. I tried to command a tank a chopper and some troops at the same time and lets just say the crew in the tank dissmounted and the chopper flew in to some trees and died horribly hehe. If there already is such a quick select in the control scheme ignore this post and please tell me were it is ^^

    Question

    ive been playing in Lan with a friend on Superpowers map. And its very fun but a couple of hours in the game when we got some troops under our command the troubles begin. I was in one cenario trying to assault a town with 1 chopper 1 tank and some troops. it starts with that i by misstake select all troops and select move there and the copper landed the crew dismounted and started to charge. same with the tank all the crew except the driver dissmounted and started to run. Another thing. i selected my chopper on the map screen and tried to have it go to a town and do like a "search and destroy" like the waypoints you can set in the editor but all it does is to fly to the location and just hover there. Anyway my question: do there exist any addon or such to more easily control your troops ? ive looked around in the control settings and couldnt find any hotkeys to select the diffrent teams you can assign (red, blue, white etc) wich would make it so much more easy. And is there any way that you can assign something like the waypoints in the editor. if i want a squad to move to a certain area and look for targets rather than just do a "move" command and have them just stand there and look dumb? :) Thanks in advance / jokk and sorry if my questions are dumb :)
  13. hey i got this earlier to put in the Init field of some tanks to make them less accurate "this addEventHalder ["fired",{_this call disperseRound}]" but every time i try to press accept it says firs that i forgot a ; and when i add that to the location it suggest i got another message saying "Type array, Expected nothing" what is that all about ? Thanks in advance / jokk nevermind i found out the problem :) i had miss spelled Handler as you can se above ^^ addevent"halder" :)

  15. Hey there. I was just playig around in the editor and made the Us and Rus both charge in to a town with 20 tanks each and added some triggers to make 6x fighter plane join the side thats loosing. Anyway i found out that the "war" ends very quick. all the tanks pretty muck oneshots the oposing ones. So im wondering if there is any way to make the tanks less accurate and that way make the cenario last longer? I find myself just juming in as an cevilian and just watching the show but as i said its not a long show :P Alternativly i just add like 30 more tanks to the show but i dont wanna overdo it. Shure its a reality sim and tanks are pretty accurate but still i want more mayhem less death :D Thanks in advance Jokk

  17. cool thanks a million :) will check it out asap quick question. In the editor there is a module called warfare. when i try to start my map with that module it dosent start or have a very long load time wich is strange because all the other load times in and out of editor / game is like 4 seconds What does that module do?
  18. Hey this is my second post here this hour hehe. Im wondering if its possible to make a trigger so that once a Us troop gets inside it triggers some Rus troops to board a helicopter on the diffrent side of the map. i dont know how to make the troops wait for a certain time before they start preforming the waypoints. Ive made a pretty fun cenario now were the Us is assaulting a fort and i would like to make so that when the Us troops gets inside the fort the Rus calls for backup. so i want 2 squads of riflemens to board 2 helicopters so they can come to the rescue.   19. all the troops in the plane already got a unassignvehicle script on them from start. And the plane dosent wait for them to jump he lands before we get to the jump location My Soldiers got this script "this moveincargo plane1; group1 = group this ;unassignVehicle dude1" and there is 20 soldiers dude1 to dude20 :P tried the same thing but using a heli insead of a plane and it works like a sharm. weird ---------- Post added at 03:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:13 PM ---------- okay nevemind i fixed it :P i was suppose to use the unassighvehicle on the trigger not on the troops. thats why the plane lands the troops should not be in the plane because ive unnasigned them hehe. Thans alot anyway :D

Hey i have a c-130j full of troops that i want to parachute over a little town. i have gotten the trigger to work so that the troops jump when i fly over it etc. But every time i try to play the cenario as one of the troops the airplane ignores my waypoints and go the nearest airstrip and lands. whats up with that? The airplane is not in group with any of the troops and dont got any scripts all it got is a "move" waypoint that it ignores. Please help Btw sorry for any bad english :)
