  1. Ahhhh fantastic. A mod manager! Thanks so much for that link :) ---------- Post added at 02:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:17 PM ---------- Ok I downloaded and am trying the launcher mod, but I have a question. When directing the launcher to my mod directory, it says in the readme "the directory is relative to ArmA directory (same way as it would be used with the -mod parameter)." Does this mean that I type the mod directory in from the ArmA directory, so all I would put is @modname? or Arma II\@modname\addons\modname, etc?
  2. I just don't understand why the accuracy goes to complete crap with pistols in 3rd person while the accuracy from rifles is just fine, I just have to aim a little high. Like the pistols in 3rd person won't even hit a man sized target 10 ft away sometimes while staying still and crouching. The idea of 3rd person to me is just a different and more appealing way to play a game to me. The fact that the 3rd person in this game was so fleshed out in the demo is why I bought the game. I love it. A shooter style game that actually has good 3rd person is so rare as to be nearly unheard of. Last one I played was SoCom.
  3. The "delay" in movement in a lot of the weapons is something that is extremely aggravating in this game :/
  4. Oh but don't worry. Enemy NPCs with submachine guns can headshot your sniper from 400 yards away 3 seconds after you blow up the APC they were in. Oh and they do it through vegitation that they can see through but you can't. sigh.

    Xbox controller Arma 2

It can't hurt to plug your controller in. If you haven't done so before there's some software to install so it will work. I plugged my old joystick in and it worked 100% and made flying about 1000% easier.

    North America Release / Publisher

I don't see why you wouldn't want to download the game if you want it that badly. Both steam and direct2drive are legit and secure ways to get the game. I've had nothing but good experiences with D2D. And can download all the old games I've purchased through them at any time I want.
