There are sonic cracks in 1.4 yeah? last JSRS I DL'd the sonic cracks were seperate from memory (its been awhile). SO is 1.4 including everything from all previous versions into one big one? inlc BAF content? The reason I ask about the sonic cracks is I remember shitting myself everytime I was shot at as it would be a loud snap going off, but ive not experienced that so much yet.

My friend living in Germany wants to pick up combined operations, though he speaks German he prefers English in games but he said he cant find an answer on the websites, Steam etc etc if he picks up the game from German stores that it can be installed with English language files. Doing a search I cant find anything on the forums that gives a certain answer either. So, Can you use the English language files if you buy the German version via whatever means be it retail or direct download?

Scenario: Takistani Peacekeeping Type: SP and CoOp Requires: A2+OA or CO Location: Takistan Author: RandomArmaNoob Version 1.0 This is my first map into the Arma2 modding zone and i did get some help with it ofcourse. Ive edited the MP version a bit so there isnt any waypoints. Please PM with bugs and other crap i need to fix/make better! Uploaded with ImageShack.us Description/Setting: Set in central Takistan roughly a week before the attempt on Col. Aziz life and 2 weeks before the US invasion. With the conflict over Karzerghistan's border region, threats to invade made by the US and general dislike for the current government, the civilians of Takistan; also known as the Takistani Locals, have taken up arms and set off a powder keg. They have attacked and taken control of an oilfield provoking a response from the Takistani Army. You play as a pilot for the Takistani Army in a Mi-24D. You are to provide cover for your team and support them as they complete their mission to retake the oilfield and hit back at the guerilla forces in the city of Karachinar where you will have to face the decision to be delicate and avoid the buildings while letting the ground team clear them or burn the entire town and everyone in it! Awesome campaign. Loved it from start to finish, hope you make another one! If you do another update, any chance you can please put shotgun pellets for the M1014 into the gear menu at the start? Some of those mishs would be good fun to use it in. -

PMC02 What do you do with the Civies?

I have no idea what you do with the Civillians thats a peaceful option. I shoot above the heads of the four groups and they run off and nothing else happens? what am I doing wrong? -
Well it occasionally decides to look horrible when I have everything on high. Models look like boxes, in particular the first mission Wild cat wreck and the Merlin transport. Occasionally the guns in other characters hands (or my own in 3rdperson) end up with a 2D look to them :/ Any one else getting these problems or just me? Not running any mods and i have an ATI 4800, 4 gig ram and an AMD.. eh, with 4CPUs lol, forget the name. ---------- Post added at 06:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:11 PM ---------- After reloading it seems to have fixed it. Weird. Still, any idea what would cause this?

Any good servers (and/or forums) I can be pointed in the direction of for australia or even NZ arma2/OA? Looking for anything MP really. not tried any of it tbh lol. not even coop but not sure how to find them. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah matey, you need to be running it as combined operations. If both are from steam, right click on ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead. The fourth option will be Launch Arma 2: Combined Operations. If you have separate boxed games then I think the second option in this post: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=101214 should help you out hopefully. Sorry for the confusion, It only need OA to run the thing but when I first started it I used a box from A2 and then deleted it later. by the time I realised what had happened by testing it via OA only it came up with the same error and i was already over half way through making it :(. -

Theres a lite? lol. I have the full version. I tried both running it from the main file in steam and from running it via combined operations(I have Arma2 and OA in steam aswell) and the same thing happened. It only fixed after reloading a save while running the combined op. I dont see BAF lite in expansion files. Is it possible that its conflicting? -

Yeah was looking for the same sort of thing after playing that so created my own mish. Shameless plugging but please take a look: Takistani Peacekeeping. The Mi-24D is fatter and a bit more sluggish than the Heli in the EW but rockets galore and once you get the hang of it, it is pretty fun.

Ive found that if you get out for too long the Sq leader tells the gunner to get out and get into the pilot seat. Just switch to the Sq Leader (with T) and tell him to get out. Also make sure you are on the right side of the heli. -

Im trying to get a guy to get into the gun of a pickup pk. But 'get in' waypoint makes him get into the driver seat. how can i force him into the gun?

TK_GUE_Solider_EP1 moveInGunner Pickup_PK_TK_GUE_EP1 I put the above in the 'on act' bit in a Get In waypoint but he still got into the driver seat. Did i do somethin wrong with the above? I got the names from the A2 & OA Classnames page Maybe I need to specify which gun? even tho theres only one? how would i do that?
