Norf

I have used GPU-Z to monitor temps and they have been around 50-60 degrees area. I have plenty of fans in my case and have set the card fan to 50%. So it doesn't appear to be temp' related. I did once have a BSOD and it said something about a infinite loop but i couldn't read it properly as I had lines going through it.

My system freezes when viewing the map. I get tiny squares and then a single colour and that's it. Sometimes it takes a while for it to happen or it's instant. I have tried a re-install of the game,downloaded latest ati9.7 ccc patch and I am now at a total loss as to what i should do next. I've also tried many graphics options (texture detail, graphics mem low). My system is a E8400,P5Q pro m/b, 4870 512 m/b. 4gig of ram, vista 64. Any help on this would be great

The game seems to play ok (ish) but when I go to view the map sometimes I get lots of tiny little squares and then a beige/brown screen and then my pc (sometimes) turns off. I've tried changing various settings but it makes no difference. I have dual core 8400 (i think),4870 512 mb (9.6driver),4 gig and vista 64 bit. Any help on this would be great.
