Replace each A2 classname in the mission.sqm to arma3 classnames. Also do this with all scripts in the pack (use notepad++ to edit multiple files at once. Then just start the mission and see if you get no errors and if there is replace what you forgot.How do I go about Editing Official A2 and A2OA missions?

A new hobby called editing and mission making, the scripting is very hard unless you are a IT pro but you’re not alone (many pre made scripts can be implemented). In the end it can be done by all who are interested and have a lot of patience!What am I getting myself into? -

You have the problem with A2 or A3? Maybe the button is already bound to a game command and this conflicts with the zeroing key. So look through the game keys and disable this in the game?

Hours away from releasing the new updated DAFmod for ArmA2. Then the count down to version 1.00 can start. unless people come up with more reachable suggestions to add or change things in the mod only a few more items are on the agenda:
1. New CO compatible unit pack or texture upgrade of existing
2. Dutch Voice pack
3. New / better weapon pack (addd a new Diemaco and HK416 or remove some others)
4. Add a mission pack (Warfare, Evo, Domi, Insugency)
5. Fix some scripts (Tire change, disposable rocket launcher, lifting script)
6. (maybe) custom GUI menu and better intro's
7. (post release) Release video and picture show and full custom manual

No worries, take your time. I hope to finish the DAF v1.0 in about 4/6 months so if the voices are done before that it will work out great! Not sure if you have XP with Dutch army slang or a good translator but maybe we need to try and make some translations before we start?

do you use winamp? this can play .ogg files i think by default. Via BIS tools you can play .wss files. You can save the files in any format you like but preferably in 320Kb/s (MP3) or higher. Also maybe you could send me a couple of examples before doing them all to see if this can be used together with other recorded voices. Thanks again!

lol, this could actually have potential! all it needs is some landing zones and some sharks to jump up and bite you in the buttox. And a bonus icon that turns you into mega-man.... and dont forget the retro music!

Also I made a dubbing voice example pack. That has 3 voice folders packed inside:
Male01NL <BIS_EN voice01> English voices, so you can listen to it (example)
Male02FI <FDF_Mod Voice02> Required voice samples for the voice pack (example)
Male03NL <DAF_NL Voice03> The first of 9 voices should go in here, from there we label up and later remove the 01+02 folder
You could also send me the files in one lump, or differently if you prefer. All i need is a list of were and at what recording times i can find what kind of sample. I can help you with the translations but maybe i also need to guess certain translations since I’m no soldier myself. Thanks in advance!

Great!, I’ve already started working on the config and trying to find a decent microphone, unless you already have one? It’s quite a bit of words but it can be done in a few hours i hope / per voice. Would you happen to have some people in your neighborhood that would also like to lend their voice just let me know! Then I will take care of the after mixing and resampling etc. and add it before DAF version 1.00 sees the daylight.

New ArmA3 server is online. We also host a Dutch Armed Forces server for ArmA2 and soon maybe for ArmA3 once that A2 mod reaches version1.00. We also signed up our first new ArmA3 members to the team that bring the total to about 15 active at this time. Many invites have been sent out to searching BIS players that are in need of a squad. All above the age of 18 are accepted if requirements are met.
Besides players we are also looking for testers, mission & movie makers that like play with a tactical unit.

Is this mission still being developed, I've got a new server and was looking for the latest download. Armaholic is stuck on v1.6

It was the plan to have a closer look at the weapons available and the specific unit loadouts very soon so stay tuned for that. Now that most less stuf needs to be imported and fine tunes there is more to to have a look at what we gathered, what its called and how it is textured. So please make a list of items that need to be looked at before version 1.00 is released to the world. Any advice is welcome!

64bit has the preference yes but if not available 32 will have to do and ArmA is all i use PS for anyways. Reinstalling will only take 3 minutes!

Photoshop gives you both a 32bit and a 64bit installion (two programs). so if you use the 32bit version / icon and in that folder (program files (x86)) is the paa.plugin. it works fine!

This works fine 4 me!I have been saving it with 'Autodetect' formatyou could open the file up in texview2 save it as a .tgaThe TGA 'work around' takes even more time to complete and sinds with binarized model its all you can use its so much work!
What is wrong with the Kegetys plugin i think you ment? I've been using almost every day :)Don't use the old paa plugin
you need to change the path to the tex. in the model (with moveobject), use hidden texture selections (via config.cpp) or replace the old org. pbo file. It all depends on what you want to do.Thanks boys, the textures work fine now. I instead have another issue that the skins for the .p3d are not pointing to the proper directories. -
thanks for that! Nice banner, mod claimed! Ill try it the next update if the system is operational :) I still have to figure out how to make server keys and signfiles, hope to get that done as well.
not sure if allready done but right now im looking into making a new watch, this seems to be a p3d, and i guess making it digital might take some work too/

I think a server.bat also takes care of the startup options like -mod= so either use: arma 3\arma3server.exe" -config=server.cfg -mod=@mod or open the .bat file and add the appropriate lines. To make thing easier you can also use a mod launcher (like PlayWithSIX) to start the server. Also look at the server arma3.rpt files for errors or missing files etc.. Also double check if all clients have the right files...
