    They better have female soldiers...

Agree, but for some reason, people never complain about the fact some men walk differently from others. It's easier to say that it doesn't matter what gender you are, the way to move can be different from the next person.

    Stuff is looking too new

Who knows, Maybe in the future the guns have an Automatic Spit Shinning or (A.S.S) :p

Human and AI should move at same speed

I'm sorry I didn't quite get that.
  4. No Thank you. I Prefer ArmA to stay they way it is currently.... :)

All the Bis game have Counter Strike sounds

+1 I'm going to be honest here, I never had any personal problems with ArmA's sounds. The one thing that blew me away was the cracking sound of the guns being fired at you. Being that I've never fired a weapon before, It was quite odd to hear that. But then reading here on the forums someone asked about the cracking sounds and people said that it happens in real life. Not only that, Its a very clear indicator that someone is shooting at you. While in other games, you can be in front of the weapon and it will still sound the same as when you are behind it. So sometimes it was hard to tell if someone was shooting at you, unless you hear the bullets hitting the area around you. Sad to say this, But for once It was pretty awesome to hear someone shooting at me. One thing I do hope for in the sound improvements though, Is the sound change of your weapons being fired depending on what type of environment your shooting in. Like when you shooting in a large empty hanger you will hear the sound bouncing off the walls ect. And if the hanger is filled with objects, the echo effect will be reduced.

    They better have female soldiers...

A Stupid Idea that alot seem to agree with..... BTW, you also think that Females fighting in possible future war isn't realistic..... Now that's stupid ;)

DLC for ArmA 3: A2 units

This would be an interesting thing to read if there was a post you might of heard it from. Hopefully you'll find where you heard it from. Do you remember if it was coming from a community member or BIS developer?

    They better have female soldiers...

True, However for some reason people still think those countries don't exist in this world and keep saying "Women don't fight on the front lines in Real Life". It would be alot better if the say "Some" countries don't allow it, However I do forget to say or tell that they do in some countries. I just keep trying to tell those same people that just because it don't happen in real life doesn't mean it could happen in ARMA. :) Understandable :), I know its not just a future thing. But However, for the countries that don't allow women to fight on the battlefield (As of Today) Who knows, maybe there rules can change in the Future... :D

    They better have female soldiers...

:mad:Incorrect:mad:, the ARMA series is a "Combat Simulator," Not a "Life Simulator". If you want an example of what a "Life Simulator" is, then you might want to check out "The Sims". And once again, As I keep repeating myself, The 3rd installment is set in the future. A time where anything can be change. This includes Laws about girls fighting on the battlefield......

Human and AI should move at same speed

I think BIS should have the AI stop and wait for the Squad/Team Leader (Player) if they are an X amount of distance away. Like if they are 10 - 15 meters away from player and are suppose to be in formationand moving, AI will stop or walk until the player is back into position . (If the player is running to them, If not they will collect themselves around the player) Then they will run or match the same speed as the player/team leader

    They better have female soldiers...

People are still forgetting that fact that ARMA III: 1.) Is NOT Real Life 2.) Is set in the Future (A time when anything can change) Forget all this BS about girls not fighting in the frontlines in real life because once again "ARMA III is not Real Life".
  14. I had many problems in the past with PunkBuster. And I don't know what Vac is and don't know any other anti cheat systems. So I voted for Battleye. But sadly Battleye is kind of blind to random bombing hacks. So I do hope for improvements.

    Improvements to third person view?

Never had a problem with third person view. As long as I can see my unit, Then I'm good with it...

    Onlive

It makes me wonder... If OnLive systems where employed, how much more players would we have coming to ARMA? But then I just remembered something. More people means more potentially childish players/cheaters. :( Same here, the current one I'm using right now had a base price of 500$. But with the total amount of upgrades I did to it. I say the price tag is somewhere near $900. The only thing that's hasn't been touched on this PC is the processor. The PC was bought back in 06. I'm just getting ready for a next PC that will last me. With backup hardware That's what my future baby is going to have. An Intel Core i7 Processor Extreme Edition. --Please forgive me for getting off Topic there-- Gives me another reason why I would vote no for OnLive systems. BTW some people I play games with say they have no problems needing an internet connection to play a game. So if there are people like that, then OnLive should be no problem to them......

    Sweat

But that's the thing about it, If you look at how much gear a typical combat soldier has on him in ARMA, He shouldn't have blurred vision. Maybe the helmets are on the men to tight............

Would you decrease detail for less lag?

Screw optimization. My computer always do need a good test every once and a while. More Detail and More Lag Please!!!
  20. Haystack15

    FCS for helicopters.

That reminds me, How much detail do you think BIS will put into the manuals for FCS in ARMA III if it is implemented? P.S: whats with the Poll question? I don't think I would....

    They better have female soldiers...

So then, What you said will cancel out your previous saying about the media I honestly think that all developers should just say Screw the Press and do there thing. The Media has no experience in anything but talking about a bunch of nonsense and BS And Everything about Women not fighting in the Real World is More BS. What does the real world have to with ARMA III? Which may I remind you people is set in a made up future. Btw, Women in ARMA III is BIS choice...... So I'll save my energy for Mr.Pillow :) Please Excuse me.

    They better have female soldiers...

I still fail to see the reason why female character models shouldn't be made for ARMA….. I mean honestly, how will this affect the current Male ARMA players? Some of the response I hear to that question is 1.) I don't want to shoot a female character A1 - You can Sit there and let her shoot you then.. (Simple Problem Solved) A2 - You can remember that what you are doing is playing a "Simulator/Game" and take into account that what you are not doing is something you’re not doing in real life. 2.) I don’t want to take orders from a female! CQ1 – When your mother, wife or girlfriend tells you to go do something, will you do it? CQ2 – What do you find more manly and honorable? - Men taking orders from only men because they are males? - Men taking only simple orders from both sexes? - Men taking any kind of order form both sexes? More BS Women are only an extreme danger to their male counterparts when they have a gun in their hands and pointing it at them.... This is probably the only thing said on this thread that gives a logical reason why virtual female characters cannot be implemented into ARMA. ______________________________________________ But most of us keep comparing ARMA 3 to real life when sadly in Real Life ARMA 3 haven’t taken place yet due to the time frame it was set in. Many things can change in the world in just 3 years. Who knows maybe in the future, females will be in the frontlines in many countries. And let’s say for example if BIS does implement Women into ARMA. If you look at the motto of ARMA III it will say “Survive, Adapt, Winâ€. Learn to Adapt to a possible virtual future world. ARMA is not Real Life People. If you forgot about that then you need to take some time off it..........

Or C) BIS has added some very pretty light bugs in ArmA that very in color!

    Sweat

Seen the title of this thread and though of candy. Turns out its about Blurry Vision.... But I personally like the blurry vision. It is sometimes odd when I get over a fence and suddenly blur vision will come on. So I voted yes....... Can I get candy now?
  25. It sounds nice, I don't see BIS doing this. Although with the modding community could be a different story.......... That I think will make me unplug my speakers.....
