I love ARMA and i respect you guys for the outstanding game/customer support, but it seems i'll have to skip ARMAIII, unless some kind of a miracle happens by providing us with a steam-free version (i wouldn't even mind waiting for that to happen). Nothing can beat sprocket/bistore distribution for its simplicity and cleanness if you ask me.

What's next, if i have a separate bistore account which i don't want to merge with this profile, but i cannot login with that username/pw combo on profiles.bistudio.com, because it says wrong password?

In the ACR update, the file jsrs_t72acr_c.pbo is not signed. Thanks for the update anyways :) Edit: from its timestamp and size, i suspect it being an older version of jsrs_t72m_c.pbo, though not sure :)

After syncing ACE in SU, it grabbed CBA_A2 and CBA_OA also despite having CO installed. Having CO still means we only need CBA itself, doesn't it? :) Edit: never mind, I found the answer :)

I don't get it why distribution isn't good as is now. You can play through steam if you bought that version, the others have sprocket and the dvd version. There is no point forcing steam on all. Anyways, only the steam version should get this integration, if any. In this case, maybe everyone would be happy :).
