Im just playing some coop hoping more PvP servers will appear when the game is released in the US:butbut:.I really hate bottle necked PvP games such as hold,where your forced to play a certain area of the map,it just becomes a huge lag infested spawn camp..Whatever happened to good old TDM with random spawn at two bases:(

This sounds great it's vision I had of Arma 2 before playing it.I would love to see some team deathmatch maps using the entire map with two huge bases with vehicles equipment ect...maybe a bit too hardcore for most though -

What a great game it also had scope adjustment and wind direction to take into consideration before firing. ---------- Post added at 08:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:22 PM ---------- The grass is great for hiding not so good for shooting...go prone in the middle of an area of grass tell me what you can see in your scope grass!.Being able to prone in grass and move away would benefit every class.If your a medic you need as much cover a possible when trying to get to a downed man who has just been shot,the chances are the medic will be next in the firing line unless he uses a smoke,or finds some other form of cover to get to him. ---------- Post added at 08:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:09 PM ---------- People also forget that it can take upto 20 mins for a sniper to get into position,if he gets passed the spray weapons first time.Sometimes in a match you do alot of running and dying,other times you take up a good position and punish the other side.There is a number of ways to make snipers ineffective,team work being the best which you find is missing on most the PvP servers. -

Personally I thought the full game patched up played better than the demo. -

Yeah I agree... but even after two mags fired into the bonnet you could still drive the UAZ perfectly, although the hit points had dropped to 50%.Im not really saying the game engine should be changed or anything like that, Im just saying that thease rifles should be more effective against light armour. Im not in the forces or anything im just a mere gamer reading info on the web about the rifles and thier effects on light armour.This thread is more about why take the M108 over a normal sniper rifle,when with a normal sniper rifle you can also carry AT/AA weapons.

Basically there are features missing that was in the Novalogics Delta Force series which never even had 3dfx in 1998.If you read most of the posts on realism,you will see that post people are asking for small tweaks not an overhaul of the game engine.

Im alittle disappointed but the problem is there is so little choice and Arma is about the best of the bunch...The grass is the biggest problem for me right now and the fact that the AI can see through it.
