  1. I wanted this game to work so bad; I really did. The first ARMA had major problems and was fortunate enough to have a dedicated bunch of modders pick it from the recycle bin and plant it back onto your C drive. Hoping that the developers had learnt from their previous outing (if only just a wee bit), I was desperate for ARMA2 to be great. Believe me when I say I have tweaked, I have configured; I have adjusted all manner of things to get this game working as advertised. I want to enjoy it, I want to play it but I have found that the past 2 weeks or so have been largely made up of me messing with settings and measuring the results. I've played the first 6-8 missions and found ARMA2 to be one of the best looking piles of c**p I've ever had the misfortune of spending my hard earned money on. Today (Sunday July 5th) was D-Day and after enough tweaking, adjusting, measuring, re-installing & driver changing (to name but a few of the things i have tried to 'make it better') I decided to pull the plug! This patient was terminally ill, and there was no point in keeping the life support on; it just gives false hope. Best that we say our goodbyes and let ARMA2 pass over peacefully. Good luck to all those that are willing to standby this £35 piece of garbage but for me; ARMA2 (just like its older brother) is bug ridden piece of filth that doesn’t deserve to be in any pc gaming chart (in its current state at least). Goodbye
