    FPS Spikes

Just to let everyone know, this was remedied by closing ALL other running programs while playing the game. The editor is the only portion I can tolerate FPS-wise! (thank god it's the best part of the game imo)

    FPS Spikes

Anyone else having this issue? I know I could easily be getting 40FPS if it weren't for it rollercoastering from 10fps up to 60fps every 3 seconds... Q6600 @ Stock Speeds currently... 1x GTX 260 OC Maxcore 2x 22'' Monitors 8GB RAM 4-4-4-12 2x500GB HD 750w PCP&P PSU :(
  3. I've worked out all my crash kinks except one, every 15-20 mins or so into a multiplayer game (in which i get no more than 25fps), the game will crash... any solutions? specs in my other threads ( with some fixes in them !)
  4. It'll crash for me after 5 minutes whether I'm in an aircraft or not... ridiculous.
  5. Hey there, I can change all my other graphic settings except for my texture detail? It's stuck on normal. Anyone else run across this? The dropdown menu has no other options (it used to)
  6. Are there any out there currently? I see it's easy to use but I'd like to get into more intermediate stuff. Any recommendations?
  7. Change that to women bring bad lucky EVERYWHERE.
  8. EXCELLENT, my man! I was getting about 30-40FPS in the editor mode (what I spent most of my time in), now after trying all your settings, I get a steady 50-60! Intel Q6600 @ 3.0GHz (cooled with Tuniq Tower 120) 8GB RAM 4-4-4-12 BFG nVidia GTX 260 OC Maxcore 896MB ASUS P5N32-E SLI Mobo 2x500GB Seagate HDDs 7200RPM PCP&P 750w Power Supply
  9. If you guys need a web site to host this on I'll do it for you for free. Sounds awesome! I can make it editable in-browser for the people working on the guide.. drop me a pm if you're interested, I've got some good ideas for it!

    Can't Change Texture Settings

My bad. nVidia GTX 260 OC, 896 MB
  11. Okay, just sharing my experience in HOPES that I could possibly help someone else. I started out with a: Q6600 ASUS P5N32-E SLI Mobo 4GB DDR2 4-4-4-12 XFX 8800GT 512MB 750 watt PCP&P PSU, yada yada yada... Every ten to twenty minutes of playing the screen would go black and I'd have to reboot, not to mention the FPS were extremely low (20's tops, low settings), the game was essentially unplayable. I was on the market for some new crap for my computer anyways so I figured, hey why the hell not, so I bought a new BFG GTX 260 OC edition and 4 more gigs of memory, and now I play the game at all High (Some very high) and avg around 30FPS in the campaign and up to 60 in the editor. Loving the fucking game now. I had no hope when buying that hardware because I've heard of people having problems with 8GB of RAM, and the nVidia 2xx series. I guess I lucked out. I'm sharing my story with you, although it's not practical for most to upgrade hardware for one game, IMO it was worth it. I wish you all luck on making ARMA 2 work for you! (new slogan?)
