Cyclic for the HMG is 450-500RPM. I've got an HMG config somewhere I can PM you if you'd like to take a look. As for the displayname, the designation for the HMG, from the Pamphlet is L111A1.

We fit either a 4x or 6x ACOG to the sight bracket for the HMG. Since the BAF HMG you've used has a 4x, it makes sense to leave it at that.

Cleggy cleared that up for me mate; double tap M or press G and it should take you back to the drivers POV.

Readme? We don't need no stinkin' readme. :p I stand corrected! Cheers chap.

Nice to see this finally make an appearance in A3. I've just had a quick play around with it and the model and textures are very nice mate, however there's one massive bug: when you use the rear camera, there's no way to get out of the camera view.

*edit* Beaten by da12th. Without turning this too much into a British weapons related discussion thread... With the odd regiment here or there maybe. It hasn't even been taught as part of the syllabus at CTCRM for... going on 3 years. L129A1 is being retained for the time being, although whether it's only retained in the Sniper Support Weapon role or taken into core at the level it was issued on Herrick remains to be seen. The LSW isn't a marksman rifle by default. It was replaced by the LMG in it's role as a support weapon, but was still retained for some odd reason. Perhaps we couldn't convince Sierra Leone that they wanted the LSW like they did with the old SLRs. As for the L96, we had L96A1s as late as 2011, but I've not seen one (outside of an armoury) since then. Again, whether certain units used it as a "marksman" rifle is down to those individual units, it certainly wasn't across the board. As for its accuracy; despite its many shortcomings; accuracy is one of... if not the only good thing about it. Even firing it in bursts it can still retain a decent grouping (notwithstanding the usual factors such as the barrel being old and worn.) Back on the main topic; Kiory, top work as usual with this iteration of the rifle and again, thanks for being a good egg and releasing the source files (and the pink version of it too.)

Burnes Armories Tanks and Deployment Vehicles

That phot's getting on a fair bit judging by the Bedfords on board; for at least the last 6/7 years they're as in the phot I linked. Anyway, keep up the good work. -

Nice work with the LCU Burnes; although for reference all of our LCU and LCVP are painted brown/black rather than green/black. Phot for reference. -

The Apache is designated the AH1 in the British Army. Delta, it's looking good so far. Will you be editing the Chinook in anyway (enlarged fuel tanks etc?) -

The cut of the shirts may be going back to Soldier 95 (button up with two button up chest pockets rather than the current velcro covered "lightweight jacket") but they'll still be in MTP. MTP will be here for the foreseeable future. -

Nice work mate, much appreciated. As usual I've got a couple of questions :p Looking through your PB images I noticed a hi-vis helmet cover; are RSO/Safety Staff something you've got in the works? Have you considered a (properly rolled) hood on your combat jacket units? As ever, if you need reference material I'm happy to help. -

With regards to the JWH; in the RM they're still issued and worn in Norway, as well as doing drill during the winter months (albeit with Barrack Dress Trousers/Half Lovats.) 45Cdo also wear them over the winter months (approx October-March) with MTP trousers. Bravo, you may have mentioned this elsewhere so apologies if you have, but have you considered asking StalkerGB if you could do a retex of his PCS uniforms as they have the correct leg and arm pockets? -
British Beret Modifications by Steel
Redders replied to TheoryOfWar's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Morts is correct in that it needs to be a brighter green (it currently seems quite olive.) Also, the "recruits" (it's actually the Royal Marines beret and was worn by non Commando trained personnel, and now lads undergoing training and the RM Band Service) beret needs to be a lot darker. Keep up the good work though dude. -
The RIS handguard is fully replacing the old green plastic one, certainly in regular units and from what I've seen, reserve units too.

Top man! Can't have those strange Perce habits like belts around jackets completely dominating things. Without trying to sound too much like a spoiled child.... would you consider things like belt webbing & chest rigs? (Not that the simple fact you're doing 50/50 cam white/MTP Arctic units hasn't pleased me enough. It has.) -

Nice work mate, it's looking good from the screenshots. Quick question: I don't suppose there's a combat jacket without a 58 pattern belt around the waist is there? -

Yes, it is. There are photos knocking about of blokes in MTP with cam on peoples' faces. Check out the British Armed Forces thread on Militaryphotos. -

The green top in this photo: http://www.eliteukforces.info/images/weapons/lasm.jpg looks to be the issued reversible green/sand Snugpak Softie jacket. Generally you won't find blokes wearing that without some form MTP over the top. Especially post Afghanistan. DPM/Desert DPM has been fully replaced by MTP. The black outfits used by the RMBT in this photo http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rFQZ4JHiuFM/T3vKBdB8JSI/AAAAAAAAZjM/R7hZcW7CsA0/s1600/fleet-protection-group-2.jpg are just a black issued dry-suits. They also come in DPM. You'll find RMBT wearing MTP in warmer climes (the Caribbean, Indian Ocean, etc.) -

The 50/50 cam white/MTP stuff is looking good so far dude. With regards to the chest rig, the popular thing to do is spray paint them white, or use the white tape we cam rifles out with. If you need any reference for RM related things, drop me a PM. -
British Army - Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP) Uniforms
Redders replied to bravo93's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
We don't wear Osprey in the Arctic, so I wouldn't worry about clipping issues with it. Generally it's battle vests, chest rigs or belt kit. As I said in a post above, the usual routine in Norway is for cam white bottoms over your trousers, with a cam white helmet cover, and just your MTP combat jacket. Cam white tops are only used in certain conditions/areas (i.e with little to no vegetation) so a version with one and a version without would be useful. If you want a detailed list of what's worn in Norway (gloves, masks, etc) I'm happy to help. -

Nice one dude. For those who don't know it's not an issue, but when you see it all day, every day, it's one of those grating things to see wrong. Question; and I'm kind of loathe to ask this, and I'm going to scrub myself with a wire brush afterwards but... have you considered doing Royal Navy/Army Commando flashes to represent the other pieces of kit that have their places in Bde?
