  6. If i remember rightly, unless someone has changed it, backpacks are enabled on all units. Some just have backpacks modelled on but they can still use the OA packs.
  7. Bars, the structure as it is allows us to implement all the factions of the AFRF when they are released in later updates. Could you imagine how cluttered the BIS Russia faction would be when we have added all our things? :)

    I was smashing the BVP-1 last night. Seems there are a great many bugs with it. Including its cannon having no HE effect therefore not damaging anything haha. I have put them up on the tracker, if anyone else can find any more errors or bugs. Get them up there!
  10. The best ARMA 2 islands are actually terrains. Hazar-Kot, Aliabad, Celle, Chernarus, the new ones from the DLC, Clafghan, Carraighdubh, MBG Nam, and Jakerods Miroslavl and terrain competition winner. There really isnt that many islands in the world that look roughly square either. I suppose if warfare is what you are aiming for then it suits that best. Just sayin.
  11. You can expect the tanks from the T-80 pack, with many fixes and improvements. Other tanks will come in later releases. Besides, there will be much more to play with than just tanks. ;)

    Well I have played with the DLC for 5 hours now. Had a few firefights. Enjoyed myself at the firing range, and completed the first mission in the campaign. There is bugs, a few quite noticable ones, such as the BMP1s ATGM being intent on launching Sputnik by itself, the terrible english in the briefings :p, and the lower lod trees even at close range. But I am happy with the content. The new hind with the many ATGMs is nice. As is all the other features of the BMP1, including its detailed interior. The maps, besides the lower lod tree bug, are beautiful. They do seem fresh and unique, even if I visit places I have visited before on Chernarus. The ACR units are nice. The Pandur is pretty neat, as is the Dingo and Landy Ambulance. They were nice additions. The infantry are also good quality. The weapons however have this weird shine and glow to them. I think the RVMATs may be squiffed or wrong. The weapons look like they need to be less shiny and more drab, like the camo painted M4s, instead of standing out like polished silver. A few fixes, and this will be right as rain to release on steam to majority market :p
  15. Yeah, Dum Spiro Spero is in the ACR DLC. I tried messing with it in its incomplete form but I couldnt be bothered to figure out what to do with it.

  19. This was addressed in an earlier post mate. The digital pattern is a distinctly different cut of uniform, so the models on the existing troops would be wrong if they had digital camo. ;) Dont forget this is only v0.1. We have many other releases and im sure digital troops will be in one of them.

  21. Modernised Russian Naval Infantry (MORPEH) v.2 Requires ARMA 2 Combined Arms This is v.2 of my Naval Infantry. They are completely new models from the old version, a seperate addon you might say. They also come in woodland and desert flavour now. Firstly id like to appologise as the classnames have all changed. Id also like to appologise because the Pilot, Commander, and BRDM2 have been removed from this new version. This new version has the new PASGT style Russian helmet and newer armoured vests. The Naval Infantry arent as well supplied as the motor rifle or VDV troops so they still retain some older equipment. That is why I chose to use the older vests and no digital flora camoflage pattern. I designed these to go alongside RHS BTR70. All vehicles in this new version share the same desert camo as the RHS BTR70. v.2 Russian infantry with naval troop insignia addon with OA features like backpacks and TI. Russian Mi8, Ural, and UAZ desert reskins. New KSOR camouflage pattern. Requires Operation Arrowhead. Works with ACE 2 (They will be incorporated into ACE soon). Works with any weapon replacement packs including Suddens AK74M pack.
