Looks just like it did in ArmA 2. ArmA2/OA attracts a more mature crowd so on weekdays you usually won't see that many filled servers, in the weekends it get's better though. But as mentioned above join a team, a squad, a clan or whatever people wanna call it if you really wanna experience what ArmA2/OA has to offer.

It is not much better in OA if better at all, there's enough people to play online and have fun but you can't compare it to the mainstream shooters where filled 32/64 people servers is every days news.

Thats what i find weird, i don't think you should be able to JIP when you manually disable AI in the lobby. Yes it is harder playing on a map where visibility is low. I normally never play with crosshair on and group HUD info on but i've found that and also adjusting the enemys precision really makes it a lot more interesting. Now you hear bullets whizzling over your head instead of always penetrating your body :) This is something you might wanna think about doing on such maps aswell to increase playability. -

The mission is only as tough as one wants it to be, you can adjust enemies skills & precision in your profile. I have no problem seeing AI, but of course if you don't have adjusted the enemy AI skills/precision they'll almost always see and shoot at you first. I have adjusted my settings so when enemy AI see me first they far from always hit me on the first rounds which gives me time to take cover and shoot back. If your running through the map to complete as fast as possible then yes it's impossible to see the tripwires. Your meant to be walking on a patrol. Also it doesn't always pay off to walk in a direct line to the objective. Not sure what happened with the JIP, to JIP you must have the AI playing along with you. Don't think you can JIP with the AI disabled. Well everybody alive needs to be in the extraction zone to end the mission :) Thanks for the feed back :) *** EDIT *** I think i know what might could have caused the spawn issue :o -
It barely makes any difference If i run my Core i7 920 @ 2.6ghz or 3.6ghz in arma!

Ohh okay, i just thought that bush had a certain "classname" or whatever it's called which you could remove. Well no problem, eventually i'll learn no navigate around them :p Yeah i remember that being discussed in regard of another island. Personally i doesn't really bother me but someone else mentioned it and i thought i would bring it here :) Ok, i might take a flight over the island and try spot them. I hope they are without bushes and with that brownish/redish dirt ground texture, it's great for bases/bunkers. It's working fine when crouching while entering them so i'll just do that if needed :) That sounds cool :cool:

I have a few wishes/reports. 1). This plant is seriously annoying, you can't walk through them :p The bigger models is no problem as you can walk through them. 2). Maybe the rivers should be greenish/brownish rather than crystal clear, possible though :) 3). Would love to have a few more open places like LZ Fiona for custom base building. 4). Cool trenches at LZ Fiona, didn't think that was possible to do in ArmA. There's a little problem with them though, unless you crouch you can't get into them through the path designed to do so.

I can play with my normal gfx settings but it feels a little heavy but i get no stutter whatsoever. I lowered my gfx settings a bit and now it runs perfectly, even when i spawned 150+ Vietcongs i had no problems :)

Exactly, this is a very important factor for me and this map got a great balance

Just took a quick run and i must say you have done a great job. It looks pretty "junglish" without being over cluttered, you can even go prone and still being able to actually see what your shooting at Only "bad" thing is that it feels a bit heavy, but it's worth it all the way and i just lowered my settings a bit so no problems :)

Which version of revive script are you using? Try with version 0.48 + -
It looks like i'm finally getting a proper island for my Vietnam missions, it looks very nice :cool: Please don't "over-clutter" the undergrowth, it looks fine on the pictures though.

You have always been able to use grass as cover, the problem is AI's tracking skills after becomming aware of you at times can feel a little exaggerated but that can be "fixed" by adjusting the AI precision skill(in the difficulty settings) so you they keep firing your direction yet they dont snipe you with a single shot everytime damn time :p
