There's tons of good missions available, but where ArmA 2 really shines in my opinion is when you play them coop with other people playing same style as you. My style is playing serious without getting too serious, so no i don't just walk in the shadows and constantly make sure i blend into the surroundings :p

Sounds like you should start learning the controls before going into war :p For dismount: press f1 to select first soldier, f2 to select next etc. Press space to select all members then in top of your action menu you see the dismount action. P.S. you should try go online and play coop which is much more fun. I'm located in europe and if your too i'll gladly host a mission to give you an idea of what it's all about!

That was what i loved about it... but now today i can't see myself playing it :(

For me Falcon 4.0 looks so old, same goes with OpF :p

I haven't been in a combat flight sim since Falcon 4.0, maybe it's time to return :cool:

Install beta patch & get the Sound Of War mod. If your into editing then the editor is AWESOME and will take a lot of your time ;)

It probably won't but spending a little time in the beta / trouble shooting forum might help you.......:eek:

Yes make sure you don't touch other aspects of the game it's much better just putting it away :confused:

Use xfire, fraps or press ALT+PRINT SCREEN and paste image into MS Paint with CTRL+V Dunno if there's a screenshot function in the game haven't used!

It's not even worth 6$ :p

Thats great news :cool: P.S. one thing you perhaps could take a look at... sparks from smaller rounds i think they produce too much a firework when hitting metal :)

If it's opticalsnare's tracer mod your installing do this: 1.) In your Arma 2 directory create a folder name @TracersFX 2.) In your @TracersFX create a folder named addons 3.) Copy the files: TracersWAR.bikey TracersWAR.pbo TracersWAR.pbo.TracersWAR.bisign ...into your addons folder. 4.) Your shortcut on desktop should be similar to this: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" -mod=@TracersFX

No i keep my settings as they work perfectly ;) Dunno wether ArmA uses 3,4 or 8 i only know my settings works for me :P

I have i7+GTX285 and i have played a lot of domination and have been in Chernogorsk many times also with server having grass enabled... i can play just fine!
