Agree, we should of course keep sway but that anormal misalignment needs to get rid of. -

I think if BIS actually got the unit skill slider working so the AI's dispersion is high when slider is on minimum and low when on maximum it would fix a lot of issues. Maybe a slider for both detection and dispersion :eek: Then those who prefere AK47 snipers can set slider to maximum and those who want AI to not being able to hit anything simply set it on minimum :) -

Very true, but still funkee got a point with a few of the issues on his list that needs attention. These are part of same problem i think and probably not easy to fix. This is a really annoying issue but i know BIS are aware of it :) Often it takes several hit's to take down AI, it's like they don't take damage the same way as players which effect your aiming & walking. But i think it has improved in the later beta's :) -

I'm having problems with this updated version. 1. Using the Taliban units(haven't tried with other units) gives me screen lag, so much it's unplayable. First i thought it was my computer acting up so i changed driver, tweaked everyting setting i know but nothing helped. Finally i re-formatted my harddrive and re-installed windows just to find out it was just the same. Then i remembered updating this mod, so i replaced all taliban units with russians and the lag was gone! 2. There's still units running around without heads :p I'm back to your old version which gave no problems :) -

As it is now aim upwards from crouch is a real pain and should get fixed. It's like the front of the sight is staying in position but the sight part closest to your head is moving in all directions. Thats the best way i can describe it. It's really annoying when you prefere to play without crosshair! -

Hmmm does the M4 models have a new muzzle flash now :confused: The MG's got the old muzzle flash which i believe the M4 also used to have... or maybe i'm just going crazy! New muzzle flash? -

So i did some testing with beta 588. First i was disappointed because performance took a noticable dive down, but after a lot of tweaking i got it running smoothly. Yet again it was the mouse smoothing option vs max pre-rendered frames settings that did the trick :cool: It seems that AI is much better with path finding in cities, infact i just tested on Avgani and i didn't have to constantly babysit them. So thats a great progress but it can still get better specially when it comes to buildings :) I have anybody noticed that radio comments like "scratch one" at times is very delayed? I did notice that several beta's back but wasn't sure what caused it. All in all this beta seems very nice, but will do some more testing. -
well thats why i compared it to a game as old as BF2, to give DR a chance... not that it had one :p

Couldn't agree less. In my opinion it's way lower than a average game and even old BF2 beats it any time any day :)

Too late they have already been reduced, was much bigger in earlier release. In that clip the guy is shooting directly into sand just a few meters away, of course it will kick up large dust clouds!
