Got the game to play fairly smoothing by turning down the gfx memory to low. So at least i can play it. ;P
-
Hehe yeh i suppose thats true. Sigh.... New gfx card i take it then. :/
-
Hmm maybe its the only way to play to get a new gfx card. Redicious i think as the one i have now plays everything i play, call of duty 4 and such perfectly.
-
Christ. So what your saying is my gfx card that i have now won't run the game smoothly and so i need another gfx card already?
-
Yeh unfortunately i did buy a prebuilt tower system, annoying i know but its all i could afford for the time being. Is there anyway at all of getting a better gaming experience with what i have?
-
Haha sorry i though i could get away with that before someone posted. :D One other thing i wanted to ask, is why the game is such a hog on gfx? I mean i have only just got my new PC around a week ago. PC specs are: Quad Core Q8200 @ 2.33GHz 4 GB RAM 512mb 9400GT nvidia The game is so laggy and jaggy its just stupid, i have changed the gfx, lowered everything i can, texture detail and such and still it runs so poorly. Any tips?

Only yesterday i downloaded Arma2 from steam after purchasing it and i decided to have a quick look what the game was like. I loaded the game up and i found that the game was rather jerky and a bit laggy, so i decided to play about with the graphic settings to try and get this sorted. While adjusting the graphics the screen went black and came up with a message 'out of range', i couldnt even access the game from then on as that message was all i could see, i just tried to redownload the game and the same 'out of range' message popped up. Any ideas on how to fix this?
