  1. Two things I noticed with the install that may or may not be able to be sorted by you guys.

Firstly, the need to totally uninstall the current TS3 to get this beta version working. I was under the impression they could be run off of the same system due to different instal routes but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Secondly, I found that even though I got the 64 bit version it wouldn't let me install the new TS into my 64 bit program files, instead, even though I had clicked on it in the custom route would show the route as /c/programfiles(x86) or whatever it is. Made it a pain in the arse as I had to install it into my documents.

  2. Walker, there is a group called OPEC - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OPEC.

They are the voice so to speak of the major Oil Producing nations.

They have this technique, it's called stock piling. What they do is stockpile Oil, over what is needed. Yet, the oil prices keep on rising.

Why you ask? Because there is this economic system called capitalism. This system means everyone wants to get rich. So, OPEC, being capitalist increase the price of Oil as it will always be needed. Eventhough they may have excess oil to last them for months. This means they can make lots of money at other peoples expenses. Why? Supply and demand.

Think of OPEC as a drug dealer of Oil, and the people as Oil addicts. People will pay for their fix, even if the price is increasing/quality decreasing. Why? Because they need their fix.

  3. MERT sounds a good idea, will it also function with vehicles i.e a medical ambulance as we all know sometimes a Chopper ain't practical. That said I don't know the IRL procedure.

The ideas of just respawning in are a bit gash to be honest, as it takes it back to arcadeyness, as in real life you don't have 1 man dying and another jumping in, instead the battle being continued with one less guy. Then again, it's a game so it's shit if you get shot and can't do anything but roll around and virtually die then not be able to respawn.

Best wishes with the choice you take though.

  4. Wow, who knew one simple sentence could cause such a commotion.

It's funny, a guy asking for a specific informed answer to a question on the subject of a NDA decided to post it publicly on an open forum to try and prove a point and then gets pissed off when people uneducated to the practice, like myself, post a response saying their opinion. Not only that, but I'm auto-declared a "fuckwit" and an idiot, and that my involvement was completely unnecessary.

Next time Pathy, don't post something obviously meant to be discussed in private on an open forum. But I'm sure you've been able to figure that out already.

I think we assumed what you have just said with the past 3 or so responses, so was there any more need for you to post that other than flame baiting even more?

  5. I have to say, im interested in this mod. Mainly as I enjoy PvP, and in often works better online with random people than Co-op (not saying public co-op doesn't always work but...).

Anyhow, there is one post made that annoyed me, and whilst I can't be bothered quote it it was the one along the lines of 'The most military experience people on these forums have is playing Airsoft'.

Whilst may be in this one thread that may be the case, I can ASSURE you that that really is not the general case. With most of the mod teams having members or 'advisors' who are serving or ex forces, plus there being many many other players whom also have served in one form or another. For instance I know both VCB and MAG have members who have activly served and are both well respected members of their communities, as in the case with alot of other groups.

  6. J) The indisputable fact that Dubai police in the speed it reacted to a single assassination; beat both the US FBI, CIA, NSA and police in the speed it got information on the 9/11 suspects; and MI5 and Scotland Yard on the London 7/7 bombing suspects; yet this remarkable feat has never been remarked on by anyone.

Walker Texas Ranger, please... as you have just said, the hamas fella baited him self up good and proper, making it very very easy for it to be recorded. Yet you say it was a better success for the Dubia coppers.

Terror attacks, they blow them selves up. Leaving no evidence, just some phone calls, phone videos ect. and a few black boxes from the planes. Yet, the FBI/CIA/NSA knew pretty sharpish it was Al-Qaeda, as did the English coppers. Al Qaeda even admitted it. Furthermore, i think it was little after a week, if that, that pictures of the 7/7 bombers will all over the papers and TV.

All in all, in my awfully written arguement I am saying the scale, evidence and all the jazz was vastly different, in fact near enough incomparable to compare the two.

My question to you though, if Hamas' plan was so devious how comes E-Sherlock Holmes could work it out? Mr Watson give you some help?
