How can I get rid of the stutter in-game when I'm getting (what is considered decent) 30 fps. My hardware:i7 920 @ 4.0 GHz GTX 570 SC WD BLUE HD 3 GB DDR3

This happens all the time and kind of takes away the immersion for me.

Just have AA on normal. Now I can't understand why people choose to play on big servers like benny's warfare with all of that lag lol. I guess it's best to stick to small missions/single player scenarios.

I see the DLCsetup in my Arma 2 and OA folders (got steam version). Is it safe to delete those folders?

It's a shame really that there are only Co-op missions. I can play against bots by myself.

I got it working, but one problem on the first mission it says press "right ace windows key"... I press the right windows key over the body and yet I do not see a drag body option.

When I select to play the campaign it freezes. I have the ACE Mod and all the other required addons. The only thing different with my exe is I'm running other mods. Would that be the problem?

I find both fill a different niche for me. If I want a little bit of realism, fast gameplay, and not having a hard time to find people talking on mic then I will play PR. If I want a lot of realism, big maps, using a little more thinking, and more choices in terms of weapons then I will play Arma 2.

Why haven't they fixed Xfire support for Arma 2 in-game yet?

I agree with patch 1.04 it seems the AI don't have as bad as a supervision as before.

It's funny to say that I actually think BIS could've done a better job with it than Racemasters. BIS would've known what it's fans from the series would've wanted.

How can you guys only like Co-op? One thing is for sure I would kill myself if that was the only game type available because I actually want to go against other players and not be a pansy going against bots.

LMAO. Nah, man everyone has their money hole. Golf, Cars (Lexus, Infiniti, Acura, Mercedez-Benz) to show off, Apple Products (I've fallen for this), PCs (you), Houses, Food, etc. These are all things people spend tons of money on and I have nothing against it.

Yeah, your friends have to give up graphical settings and view distance to make it playable, whereas you can run everything high-very high and not worry about it. So, of course you're not going to have any performance issues with any patch. Judging by how much time you spend on these forums (always see you posting) and your rigs I can tell computers are a big hobby of yours (no negativity).

Yeah, but look at your rig(s). Your's are way over the recommended specifications and not everyone wants to spend that much on a computer.

The patches are what makes people who own the game recommend the game. Ask me 2 months ago to recommend this game to my friends and I would've said hell no. Now that they've done some fixing and I can actually see an minuscule improvement in game performance, I can now recommend the game.
