  1. I seem to have come across a fairly serious bug that occurs after you complete the career. After the last mission I went into the heliport management screen and found I own all of the available helicopters, even though I had never bought any and should only have the two that are given. I can assign myself to pilot all of them and can change their color schemes and buy upgrades, however they do not appear in the heliport and when I try to fly one for a contract or free flight I just appear on foot in a spot on the edge of the map along with all the other characters from the heliport. When I try to sell the helicopters I get the money but it still says I own them, allowing me to continually sell them for infinite money. However I can't legitimately purchase and thus can't use any of the helicopters and am stuck with the two original ones.
  2. I managed to get some help and fix the problem; I ended up having to go into the OA profile files and put my progress in manually. Not sure why I had to do that when everything seemed to transfer automatically for all my friends, but at least it works now. Thanks anyway.
  3. Yes, both games are on Steam so they're up to date.
  4. Bumping this only because I don't want it to be lost on the bottom of the last page.
  5. Hello, I just bought Operation Arrowhead, after having had Arma II for a while, and the option to launch the game as Combined Operations seems to work in that all the missions and units for both games are there- however, most of the progress for my profile wasn't transferred. Only my progress for the campaigns and my custom missions have been saved. I'm missing my scenario, boot camp, and armory progress. I'm assuming/hoping these things are transferable and were supposed to be transferred along with everything else in my profile. Can someone help me figure out how to do this?
  6. So after an unfortunate series of bugs and crashes all my saves were accidentally erased by the game. I realized this only after being shot and going to reload an earlier save, only to find there were none. I quickly saved the game at that point, however as it is I cannot continue. I am left lying on the ground wounded, with my team loaded in a truck (I kept them in there because they kept switching to Fire at Will on their own and messing up my attack). The new squad leader gives the team a move order, but since no one is in the driver's seat they don't move, nor will they get out of the truck and help me. So I am at a loss as to what I can do to continue and recover my game progress. I could have sworn I remember the other members of my team being playable in an earlier mission, but I can't seem to take control of my squadmates so I can't switch to the new team leader. Is there anything at all I can do? Maybe some cheat or way to alter the game files to manually make me team leader or give me full health again? Any help is greatly appreciated, I don't want to lose my progress for the entire mission. I was almost done.
  7. Okay so I found out that the "Select" action listed in Controls is not the action I'm thinking of, the one that's controlled by the function keys. I don't know why it's blank, but nevermind about that. But still, why can't I select individual units? Keyboard drivers are up to date.
  8. I can't control my damn squad. Why doesn't ArmA like my function keys?
  9. So in the squad leadership Boot Camp mission, I get to the part where I need to select a particular soldier. But it doesn't work. Now, I have a Logitech keyboard and the function keys are defaultly mapped to do various things such as open Microsoft Office programs. But in games this is usually no problem and they do what they are supposed to do for the game, not those other functions. However, in ArmA the keys will minimize the game and do whatever other thing they are supposed to do. So I stopped the function keys from doing their other functions and tried selecting my squad member again. But this time, it just did nothing. I went into Controls to find ithe action (it's under Select right?) and there was nothing mapped to it. I tried mapping my function keys but nothing happened. I tried mapping function keys to other actions but it didn't work. So it appears that ArmA 2 does not recognize my function keys. Is there any reason for this?
