Thanks for the feedback! Yes. I eventually got the LAN to work. That Multiplayer screen is what seems to kill the game for me right now. It is hit and miss. As I explained before, I can pretty much host games, but can't join any. Just curious, Can you see more than 100 people playing online?

Kind of says it all for this game, huh? 2 pages in the Troubleshooting forum a day, Sad, but don't worry, they are working on our problem(s). I'll believe it when I see it. Anyone that can make it to the multiplayer screen sees the 100 or so lucky people that apparently get to play 1 map. If I can't play, the least I am going to do is bitch the 1 time a day I check this site for news, sorry, but it is what I do.

Been wondering this exact thing, because at this point I am willing to build it to spec exactly just to see if it would work. To all self appointed defenders of BIS or actually have the game working; Yes we are all bitching, because we are tired asking for help falling on deaf ears. Let us at least complain a bit! I believe all of us want this game to be a success, but at this point you have the same people coming back to these forums daily for absolutely no update news, which in turn our only recourse is to bitch! Or should I be asking the same questions twice? The frame rate issue is just 1 answer a lot of us are waiting for. I have connection problems too, so it isn't just one thing for most of us. Let's face it, if this was any other product i.e. a car, this product would be recalled for failure to preform at this point.

yeah it would be nice to have a poll but I am sure will be closed. What you are saying, I know myself and the 2 other guys that bought this Beta of a game are saying. I have posted a few times simply asking for a response to what they may be addressing in the patch (to acknowledge they actually are hearing us) and as to when a possible patch or solution will be available. Closed Posts are what I get with questions like that. I really still have high hopes for this game and have a bit of faith that it may be fixed enough to get my money's worth someday, but the lack of (IMO) acknowledgment to this game having bugs beyond belief makes me feel like they are just treating us as stupid idiots they just got away with ripping us off, just bad business if you ask me. I have also seen the defenders of this game give advice to just go map edit for awhile, well I wouldn't have bought this game if all I could do was make maps and never play them with friends. I just wish that those people would let BIS defend themselves. There are problems with the game and to me it is only fair to let us know what is up, if I hadn't paid for this beta I would not need to hear, because it is a beta, but that is the difference with having paid for this and not.

I really can't believe there hasn't been a statement concerning what they are or are not working on. Or when possibly we may even see a patch. Never seen so many people sitting with a "BROKEN GAME" and no response. Shame Shame.

Um, you have had my money since the 26th of June. Seeing that there is about 100 people online, I would think that 99.9% of us are waiting for a patch. HOW ABOUT SOME NEWS ON THAT?

So do you have to freak out in this forum to get an answer? I think I explained my problem calmly and I am patiently awaiting ANY response.

Here is a fun problem that I am lucky to have. Start Steam, start voice chat w/friend, go into game, click multiplayer, disconnects voice chat. So I tried 2 other games in steam (left4dead and TF2) and stayed connected in chat the whole time (1 hour each game). My friend has steam and no problems getting into servers in ARMA2. My game seems to not like any low ping servers?!? I can get into a few servers, but they have to be over 100 ping, this is of course if I am not freezing up completely at the Multiplayer server screen. My friend was able to connect to a server I created and that played fine. Seems I can host fine, just can't join anything I want to. Game runs terrific on my LAN. I have absolutely no issues there, joining or hosting. Just seems my computer and that Multiplayer screen don't agree on anything? Any help would be terrific! I have updated windows Vista with all updates and just installed the newest Nvidia driver. I defragmented and did the cache thing. Pretty much tried everything.

Tried to make an internet server, CONNECTION FAILED! I tried to join an online server with both CPU (took awhile to find a server!) but finally I had both connected in the same server, so it wasn't an IP thing. Then I tried another test. Both computers connect to only about 10% of servers, but NOT THE SAME ONES! WTF! I have no idea how to fix or even what to try when nothing is consistent. HELP HELP HELP. I really want to play!

YES PLEASE! I told my buds to hold off until this game is playable in multiplayer. I connect to 10% of available servers, then in those get kicked after a min or so.

I can connect to about 10% of servers right now. When I do finally get in I get booted after about a minute. This is fun!:mad:
