Whats a GPU?

I still just keep getting the error message "Shader 2 not supported anymore" everytime I try to launch the game

When I go to launch the game from steam it does the loadup checklist, screen goes black like its going to launch then it crashes and I get a "Shader not supported anymore" Message, I fucking hate steam :mad: any suggestions I really want to play :)
