  1. Thank you. I guess I wasn't paying attention as I didn't realise the 'air support' helicopters were the same ones used for transport... but that makes sense 👍
  2. Only just found these excellent missions/campaigns! Have only played a bit of NATO on Altis/Tanoa so far, but have a question: I'm not sure what I should use the 2 unarmed 'air support' MH-9s for - are they just for spotting?

    [SP] HETMAN: War Stories

Really enjoying this mod and ports, but can anyone advise any factions which work well other than A3/Apex ones? I haven't had any luck with RHS, and only patchy results with CUP. Thanks! EDIT: 3CB Factions worked well. If I understand correctly it's mostly a repack of RHS to form 'complete' factions..? https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1673456286
  4. Just played for the first time. Very good but a couple of bugs I found in the sniper section: - The LRPS sight doesn't seem to fit on the Lynx sniper rifle given, so I had to use an ARCO sight I think I picked up earlier. - Eventually got the snipers, but I was told an enemy vehicle was on the way on the Southern road. Seemed to turn out to be a couple of riflemen instead.
  5. Seems like a cool mission, but I am any recommendations for initial squad/vehicle build and should I go straight for a zone or a side mission?
  6. And all works fine! Thanks for explanation
  7. Ah, OK. Thanks. Appreciated!
  8. Thanks, but the comment was "There is a slight bug in stable patch, the rockets are not exactly accurate"; I didn't understand this to mean that DAGRs are currently not guided at all. Checking Dev version.
  9. I've tried at longer distances and waited longer, fired from stationary hover, etc. No difference. In the screenshots I've locked on some seconds before
  10. Created a thread with screenshots in Troubleshooting: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?156147-DAGRs-do-not-appear-to-be-guided
  11. I originally posted in Q&A, checking whether the DAGRs were supposed to be guided: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?155925-Are-the-DAGRs-supposed-to-be-guided&p=2407685#post2407685, established that they are, and I seem to be doing everything right. But for me they do not appear to demonstrate any guiding in flight whatsoever. I can Tab to acquire targets with the KA-60 (square indicator around target), and lock on to them (when the target's in front of me, a diamond indicator appears on top of the square one, shrinks a bit and then stays steady forming an 8 pointed star). But when I fire, the rockets always seem to fly directly towards the crosshairs. Other than the target indicator behaviour, range etc, they seem to behave just like the AH-9's unguided rockets. I'm using the regular Beta and I have played OFP, A1, A2. Tried the Helicopter scenario, editor missions etc. Here are some screenshots of the issue, targeting an stationary vehicle while flying slowly towards it and firing with cross hairs very slightly off target: Target acquired and locked and about to fire: http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1722716/dagr01.jpg (356 kB) DAGR on the way: http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1722716/dagr02.jpg (358 kB) Impact: http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1722716/dagr03.jpg (345 kB) About to fire (this time slewing slightly to the right) http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1722716/dagr10.jpg (345 kB) Impact: http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1722716/dagr11.jpg (344 kB) Any advice or insight welcomed.
  12. I guess the only thing I can do is record a video to demonstrate the issue I am experiencing. And probably start a new thread in Troubleshooting, unless someone can move this one?
  13. Nope, I've just checked in my Game Difficulty setttings and "Auto Guide AT" is enabled. As per my original post, I'm firing only when I get the "8 pointed star" targeting indicator, and there is no discernable steering in flight at all.
  14. For me on the vanilla beta, they don't seem to be steered in flight at all. Just checked in an editor mission and they seem to behave pretty much like the AH-9's rockets, only difference I can see is in the behaviour of the targeting overlay as described above. Plus the selected target is marked on the radar. So they should behave similarly to Arma2 Mavericks etc even if less accurate? If so, this seems to be a bug for me...
  15. Not really, no. How am I supposed to guide them?
