Smoke screens and HE canister granades

I hope your not talking about the AI pilots. they can't see mountains, much less smoke ;)
  3. Just thought I would put this up, since I was among the frustrated masses that couldn't play this game BEFORE: AMD Athlon 64 x2 5600+ Brisbane 2.9 ghz EVGA 9600gt -Studdering -Mouselag -unplayable in towns and cities -ctd AFTER: AMD Athlon x2 5600+ Brisbane and Artic cooler - overlcocked to 3.2 ghz EVGA GTX 260 216 -40 fps in countryside -30 fps in dense cities I thought my hardware wasn't a problem, but I can play the game ok now. Not rubbing in anybodies faces, because I hate when people do that in this forum. The way I see it now is either: A) wait for the game to be better optimized if ever B) Upgrade or overclock Obviously this doesn't apply to the people with gtx 295 problems, but I think the enhancement pack fixed that. And trust me, getting the game to work is only the beginning. then you need to learn how to play the buggy badly scripted pos' It is definitely fun though :) I hope people don't take this thread the wrong way Good luck!

    Patch 1.03 Stability Survey

So according to 60% the patch made it worse or didn't fix anything? I just upgraded my 9600gt to a gtx 260, so I am considering giving my ArmA 2 copy another go...but I don't want the frustration. Is there still 2xx problems?
  5. 4 X i7 overclocked to 7.0ghz 24GB DDR3 4x quad Crossfire 4890's Nah, just kidding. Not sure ;)

    Radiosound + Mouse Lag Problem

It is obviously simulating the helmet, along with the fatigue and shock from combat. :j:

    Radiosound + Mouse Lag Problem

Ah I get mad at everyone these days. ArmA II is making me an grumpy old man. It will get worse when I get my GTX260 in the mail and experience no performance gain in ArmA :butbut:

    Radiosound + Mouse Lag Problem

Jesus you have got to be kidding me. Some people may experiencing some small smoothing and not used to it. What is happening to me IS A GLITCH. I have been with the series for awhile. It is not the weight of the weapon, it is not the momentum of the character turning, IT IS A FUCKING GLITCH SOME PEOPLE HAVE AND CAN'T GET RID OF no matter how cutting edge their system is. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWoNxc0U7i8&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWoNxc0U7i8&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Why is that so hard to understand. Weapon weight simulation wouldn't travel over to making driving a car in ArmaII seem like a friday night after the bars Some people have crisp response
  9.:803: I guess this has been our fault all along!
  10. I agree, this is a f*cking revolution as far as this company goes :yay::bounce3::bounce3:
  11. By the way Eth, this build....holy shit man  Have you trained it to take care of the house yet?

    Radiosound + Mouse Lag Problem

I really want to know your opinion on it Placebo. Do you think the people have a right to get at least one update of what the BIS plan is?
  13. FlunkyMonkey

    Is it worth it?

    Radiosound + Mouse Lag Problem

I am not trying to bust your balls here Placebo, but nobody is expecting every PM to get answered, we are talking about ONE post on the forums that says that they have acknowledged all the various mouselag and performance issues people are having, and that they are trying to work something out. Not even a "it will be done by x", just a post that makes use believe that they care about the fact that a lot of people are really struggling right now and they are under the impression that the game SHOULD work on their system, and that they are hanging in there with the help of people on the forums that also have real life jobs and have gotten their games working, sharing their tips with others trying to help (extensively researching how to make this game run). I am not turning my back on BIS or giving up, I just feel they are somewhat liable for that one post because they fibbed the recommended hardware reqs. a little bit. Do you think that I am completely wrong? I know the game works for a lot of people, but it also doesn't work for a lot of people.

    FPS isn't everything...

As belligerent as BIS has been with letting their community know what is going on, I have faith. I just upgraded my sys. about a year ago, so I am playing through ArmA for the first time :)
