  1. a couple small things that would be cool for future releases.

    MOAR acu guys, using the regular USMC bodies for example.

    for the SEALS, use the force recon (non assault dudes) models, and give them the woodland texture since the FR guys already look a lot like seals, they just need the camo swap.

    and idk if this one is possible but give the medic class the red cross icon so u can tell he's a medic in your squad.

    that would rock. :D

    ive been using these all day and they look great!


  2. ok so if i dl all the files off the server link and put them in folders like the instructions say i can play all those arma 1 maps in arma 2? sorry im new to this, just trying to understand exactly. thnx :D

    ok it almost worked. i downloaded everything and extracted to the proper folders.

    however on launch it says i need "ofp compatibility addon"

    then when i go to the editor i have several utes listed and a chernarus. the utes load as utes but when i exit it says i cant play/edit because its dependent on dlc that has been deleted.mapname

    wtf???

    how can i load these maps :mad:


  3. Have you tried running it withthe -winxp switch on the exe?

    Im running 8Gb Ram and an ATI 4890. Without the switch i have problems. With it no problems at all.

    yup arma 2 runs fine, i use the winxp thing. it seems silly that it doesnt just work regardless

    but arma 1 refuses to work at all. so no buy and therefore no arma 1 files


  4. is it possible to give yourself the helmet worn by the assault grenadier/rifleman? you know the tan one with the goggles on top. i see it's used by some of the models but it's not one of the scripting options.

    well what im really trying to do is this:

    in the 1st pic you can see the USMC unarmed soldier model is the same as the merc guard except for the camo.

    the goal is to have the assault rifleman model use the camo of the merc guard essentially creating a (not very accurate) US army soldier, until dedicated army dudes are made.

  5. Ok, so I was messing around in the Editor exploring Chernarus and I found this really tall smoke stack with a ladder on it, so I climbed up to the top. Out of curiosity I wondered what BIS had designed the inside to look like so I looked in the top of the tower and to my surprise I found this very disturbing Santa (Satan?) with a bird beak. I have no idea what the point is or what it is from lol but it is a pretty funny easter egg!

    You add the mag first, then the weapon so that the unit starts with a reloaded weapon. Then you can add additional mags. If you want to force the unit to use a specific weapon, use 'selectWeapon'.

    Hey im trying to do exactly this, give all my team MP5 SDs. however when i

    copy and paste this code into the init box i get the error:

  7. i had wondered this too but figured it out thru guessing a bunch.

    press M to go to your map. then press space while pointed at the location u want to get to. go to communication and then select the helo transport support option and click a few times, and it then designates where you're pointing as the LZ. then the helo takes off :)
