  4. Actually, tracked vehicles can't swim in Arma3. All they can do is they don't sink. Sinking BMP2 will be fixed in the future updates.

  10. No, I don't. :-))) Really don't have time to play with other mods. All Russians are hard to kill, didn't you know? :-))) P.S. The damage values of the ammo is now the same as in vanilla Arma3. This may change in the future.
  11. Thank you!!! The gameplay and balance parameters are a subject to change. But if you want to make changes for yourself, here's a pbo list of the mod. Sud_gw_air - air vehicles Sud_gw_v - wheeled vehicles Sud_gw_t - tracked vehicles Sud_gw_wpn - weapons and ammo Sud_gw_u - units, vests, etc. Sud_gw_data - common files (f.i. Penetration rvmats) sud_ru_radio - radio protocol If you want to change weapon parameters, you should edit the Sud_gw_wpn.pbo. :-)))

  13. Thanks, but! UAZ have 7 seats actually. There're two more in the back. This reduction was made to balance it with the HMMVW. I'm still thinking on the light vehicles concept and waiting for the fire from vehicles feature to make changes. AK74's default zeroing should be 440m. It's the first setting on the AK's iron sight which is marked by П (P in English) letter and corresponds to 440m sight adjustement. This setting allows you to shoot at any target in 440m range without adjusting because the bullet will not go higher than a standing human in that range. You just aim lower and fire.
  14. Thanks, mate! Actually there're lots of bugs there... and I do plan a big bug hunt after I end with the final phase of the v1.0. Vehicle physics and penetration tweaking are the first priorities. And thanks for pointing out the engine power for T72B. Mine was using 740hp. P.S. When I just started making the BMP-2 she was turning slightly right. :-)))))

  16. Thanks everyone! I suppose the exploding bug is somehow connected with the Geometry LOD. Arma3 damage model of air vehicles is very poor as the vehicle just explodes if it runs into any obstacle with any geometry part while flying. where Arma3 new FM is compared with DCS. I have skipped time to the damage part comparison. :-)))So I will try to change that in the next update, but I will need your feedback, because in my current environment the problem doesn't exist.
  17. Hey, man, thanks! Sounds actually are not the strong part of this mod and I know it. Mainly because making sounds takes a bunch of effort and a lot of time. BTW, I also personally don't like the sounds in most mods that I have ever played, because usually they are not balanced. JSRS mod also doesn't provide all the sounds modders may need so for now it is what it is. Mi-24 and Ah-1w will come next and bring this mod to the v1.0. :-)))) I also think about making Apache and V-80 (which was the name of Ka-50 at start) attack helicopters, but it's not a priority task for me now.
  18. Cheers! I didn't understand it was a question. I don't know exactly because I was unable to reproduce this. I have changed some parameters in the models, but I'm not sure if it solves your problem. In my case everything plays fine on dedicated. No explosions. Maybe it's a problem with a Linux server version or something, because I have only tested it on Windows. Maybe you can get some more info on this issue? Logs, rpt files, any kind of input would be great. Thanks for the feedback! P.S. I have found some info on the same things sometimes happening with helicopters. Can you try to shoot a bullet to the plane before get in?

Sud_russians is a completely different mod which just adds a Russian faction to current Arma3 environment. Yes, the next step will be Hind and Super Cobra and that's where we come to v1. :-)))

    Arma3 Alpha was released March 5 2013. First version of this mod was released March 6 2013. Good to see that someone is still surprised. :-))))
