Q9550, 4mb ram, GTX 285, everything on medium with decent fps.

DLcmdr I have quad 9550 @ 2.83, 4gb ram, GTX 285 and vista 32 I cant play the game on medium. I play low/medium and hava 15-25 fps. Nice to hear others also have problems.

DayGlow What do you mean by cheat in this context? What is LHD? What is a/the manafest?

alexgstudios I have a q9550, 4gb ram and a GTX 280 and i play on medium/low and have maybe 15-27 fps, which is pretty bad. You will have better but from what i understand, its verry individuall from computer to computer, even with the same setup. In statistics it is called that the standard error/variance is large.

Stealth, thanks for the link, unfortunaly my skills behind the computer is to bat to know what to do. I download a file, "ArmaIIMark.chernarus.pbo", but then? A pbo file is above my knowledge... Tell me as if i was 12.

Is this really in multiplayer? I have never sen or left an empty vehicle in mp. maybe you are talking about coop?

Does anyone know a server there there is no respawn? That would make this game really intresting. Ofcourse there would be more camping, but a nice mission can make that pariah. After you got fraged you turn into that bird so you can watch the battlefield? Or if the devs could fix an inbuilt mechanism that let dead players kill ant talk to eachother on some simple map :)

5-10 minutes, then this game will be like CS. Id say that 30 min sounds more reasonable. Ill be happy to wait 10 min (ill die about 20 min into the round), and at the same time plan my next round (over ts) with some ppl that also have died

casius belli, i agree to that aswell. But future af this game, and the way it will develpop on the net is not upp to one of us, but more like politics where one has to compromize. The jail idea sounds way better than the 10-second-respawn-ruin-the-tactics-totaly-game

Yes, carlqustaffa, the jail-idea sounds intresting. As whispere says, dieing in an accident one min in the game éhen the game plays in 5 fps is not do funny. But hhe jail idea has to be combined with ip-ban during the jail visit, and when the game passes an arranged time, the death is.. well death for the round.

I dont know what projecy reality is, but i strongly agree that team vs team is lacking in arma, and the arma veterans seems to put their spikes out like hedgehogs. From what i have learned so far is that arma 2 players generally likes to play with AI. Mostly they (generally) like playing humans vs AI or the mix that you just mentioned; a mix of players and AI in both teams (CTI). It seems that, of some reason, no mather how strong the computer is, it cant host more than 20 ppl in arma. That is part of the explanation i think, in kombination with that the maps are huge.
