You had bait hardly a fair fight and i made him use up all his missiles :) Wee bug when bushlurker died his Squad Commands passed to me and stayed with me for the duration fo the game. He kept the Artillery tho :( Compliant had a bug where he couldnt get out of the choppers. Cjph couldnt connect over the NVG thing. Is there a new @PC_format required folder? Good game tho can see this working out very well. -

yup and no so if you have Ace or Zeus running it will overwrite the missions AI and effects. ie players will get tired whilst playing an non ACE mission and be sniped from 5 miles away with by an AI with a handgun using Zeus If you have ACe running on your server and the mission doesnt require it i can join without ACE and not get tired but someone with it will get tired.

I couldnt resist the temptation of the Harrier :o Died and they played on for ages whilst i spectated. very good mission altho would like to have no AI, they can do some stupid things the russian AI lost their guns in the sea and just ran around the place :confused: -

Umm is it ok if people play your mission drunk like further research type thing? Friday night is drunken arma night(tbh most nights are for me) on our server and operation sparkle is a good fit :) -

once you go ACE theres no turning back :D yeah the init part is as far i know, anything beyond goes into things i dont know like how to give a vehicle a weaponcrate and respawn script thingie at init. I just put 2 of the same vehicle one with weapons and other with repawn:o -

I know that one :D I use in a vehicles init Exec vm "weaponcrate.sqf"; with a weaponcrate sqf loaded with every ACE weapon and defaults, so our jeeps and helis spawn as mobile ammo boxes. Sure it can be tailored to your needs :) -

Only issue i had when the chopper crashed i went minus 4 and couldnt leave the base for a while :( Other than that would let the makers stick whatever they want into it. Easily the best organised game of Arma i have played with so many players. -

Tried this last night, very good the side missions are brilliantly done. using Unmodded version.

Have you got OAC? Does it mention any error when you crash? Look for a server with Sahrani running and join it, you will get an error saying your are missing content. -

cheers for the reply. tried searching didnt get anything useful. Going to try use this http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=97564 random aerial patrols and see how that works out. -
hi I have an enemy plane set in a group with a waypoint to follow the leader. its 4 KA choppers and one SU, the 4 choppers take off and head to the waypoint with the preferred option but the Su just drives around the runway and never takes off eventually stopping and just sitting there. I have changed its placement on Sahrani numerous times from the 3 available airfields but eh never takes off just drives around the runway :confused: is this fixable in the editor or do i need a script from someone else? thanks

I use this saved as weaponcrate.sqf and nul = execVM "weaponcrate.sqf"; Spas12 and ANother dont work for some reason. all copied from ace wiki. Also if you use this in a vehicles it spawns with all this in it :) -
Honestly dont believe its mission related either ACE or whatever scripts are added. http://homepage.eircom.net/~kdjac/arma2%202010-04-03%2018-07-12-89.jpg you end out at the foot of the lighthouse in Canino, we went to kill rescue an AI guy to try complete the mission and there 2 entire squads of AI dropping from the sky. We cleared it tonight but morrow we have 7 so disabling AI and we will beat it :)
