  1. I'm running it at 1280X1024 (both settings , so 100% fillrate). I've tried dropping the resolution but it still won't get above 23 or 24 fps, in fact it didn't seem to affect the framerate at all.
  2. Hi guys. Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if there's something I could do to get some better performance. I get around 40-50 fps with only a few AI on the map, with more AI I'm getting around 22-23 fps. I thought it seemed like it was being held back by cpu? Specs: Vista 32 bit 4gig DDR2 ram (not entirely sure what ram exactly) ATI 4770 HD 512 MB AMD phenom II X4 940 black @ 3 ghz. I feel like if anything it should be the graphics holding me back but it runs fine when there's less AI, (Doesn't make a difference if they are in sight or not). I'm using the "-winxp" trick as well for the ram. Turning the graphics settings down doesn't make alot of difference. Any help would be much Appreciated! -H
  3. Thankyou! I'll see if it makes a difference.
  4. Hi all. I'm trying to get my game (at the moment just the demo) running as smooth as possible. I want to try the -winxp solution, but I am confused as to where to type this in. I'm not sure if it will help me. I'm running Vista 32 bit, AMD 64 3800 CPU, ATI 4770 HD 512 MB and 4gig ram. (New cpu is on the way). I've searched through this thread (with the search function and manually) but couldn't find where to actually add the "-winxp" . Also, if anyone has similar computer to mine and found a nice config, feel free to post it so I can give it a try. (As you may have realised, I'm not too good with the technical side of things when it comes to computers!) Any help much Appreciated -H

    Tired of permanent respawn!!

You didn't edit any of the files in the game did you? Sounds like it could be a FADE "symptom" to me...
  6. Dslyecxi, fantastic job on this! ARMA II isn't out here yet, but by the time it is out, I should have a much better grasp of how to be an effective team member when it comes! Great diagrams and it's easy to understand everything. Thanks alot!
